(Trying something new here. Let me know what you think of this.)

Ms Applegate watched the entrance to the school pitifully, waiting for the moment the new kid arrived. She had been dreading it. "Don't I have enough troublemakers already?" She thought to herself.

After a few minutes of nobody arriving, the bell rang for school. Ms Applegate was fine with starting early, since she would be able to send the kid to principals office for being late.

Later...

"Okay, go do whatever now." Ms Applegate said to everyone in the classroom. Jerome tried to get Lily to be his morning buddy, but she refused, so he instead went to Monty and the two agreed to be morning buddies

Cindy considered the available options for her morning partner. There was Nugget, Lily and Buggs. She sighed, feeling annoyed. "I guess Buggs will have to do for now..." she thought to herself.

Lily looked around for a minute, waiting for an opportunity. Monty pulled out a Yo-Yo and passed it to Jerome, who then passed Monty a knife.

"How did you sneak this past the teacher?" Monty asked him quietly. Jerome didn't answer, as he knew a set of eyes were on them.

"Sneak what now?" Ms Applegate asked. Monty immediately hid the knife and held both of his hands up, trying to reassure the woman.

"You're hiding something from me. Let me check your pockets." Ms Applegate demanded.

Jerome backed up slightly and bumped into the wall behind him, causing him to drop some paper from his pockets. It landed beneath the table that Cindy and Buggs were sitting at.

"It's getting too noisy, so let's sit over by the house." Buggs said to Cindy. Cindy suddenly shot up in excitement.

"Can we play house?"

"No."

"Ugh." Cindy groaned. "You're no fun."

When they both left the table, Lily grabbed the paper that landed beneath the table and left the classroom, slowly closing the door behind her. Little did she know, somebody had watched her escape.

Once she closed the door, she sighed in relief. She turned around to go to the principal's office, before being stopped by the hall monitor. She showed him a hall pass and was allowed to pass by.

As she approached the office, she noticed that no noise could be heard except the sound of her own footsteps, and more footsteps. She looked behind her to make sure the hall monitor wasn't following her.

"Odd." She thought to herself. "Why can I hear-"

"Hey there."

Lily jumped. She turned around to see... "Nugget?! What are you doing here?"

"Nugget saw the pretty Lily exit the classroom. Nugget knew of the pretty Lily's plan to escape." He responded.

Lily started to get nervous. "You should probably get back to class. We'll both be in trouble if we get caught outside of class."

Nugget shook his head. "Nugget knows the reason pretty Lily snuck out of class. The pretty Lily misses Billy."

Lily's eyes widened. "Oh no, you said Billy. The device is gonna explode!"

Nugget put his hand on her shoulder. "Nugget put the device in the cubby before leaving. Nugget thinks you shouldn't have to worry."

Lily sighed in relief. "Oh thank goodness." She looked at Nugget. "Yes, I miss Billy. I think the principal has taken him."

Nugget took a look at the pills in his pocket, then looked back at Lily. "Nugget thinks he knows where Billy is, and why he's there."

Lily's eyes widened again. "Really?"

Nugget started looking through his pockets. "Nugget thinks Billy knew too much. Nugget was given this by Billy."

He pulled out a letter, which was pink and had a drawing of a heart on it.

"Oops. The pretty Lily was not meant to see Nugget's Love Letter yet." He put the letter back and pulled another one out, which had Billy's handwriting on it.

"Love Letter?" Lily questioned. A tint of pink appeared on her face.

"Nugget thinks the pretty Lily should focus on the subject at hand." Nugget responded.

"Oh yes. We should get somebody to read this for us." Lily answered, studying the letter carefully. "This could be very important."

"Nugget can read, but Nugget is unable to comprehend some of the words on there." Nugget exclaimed.

Lily was trying to think of somebody. There was only one person she knew could read. Monty.

Lily took the note from Nugget. "I've figured out who can read this." She explained.

"Nugget wishes the pretty Lily the best of luck." He said before heading back to class.

Lily stared at the paper in her hand before clenching her fist. "I'll find you, Billy. I promise." She whispered before heading back to class.
