"My grandpa lives right next door on our land. He just comes over to my dads house when he gets lonely."
Shawn groaned "Great, now I am gonna get yelled at all the time" he said as we walked down the grave road towards the fence, I leaned against the fence to watch my families horses wonder around.
He did the same as me "I didn't know you had horses" he said, and looked down at me "Wanna ride one?"
I looked away from him and back at the horses "No. I cant ride" I said simply, Shawn laughed then stopped seeing my face.
"Oh, your serious."
I just stared at him "I was always too afraid to ride one growing up. When I was younger I saw one buck my brother off and he ended up at the hospital" I told him, crossing my arms.
He stared out at the field for a moment, lost in thought then, to my surprise, he was jumping the fence.
"Shawn?! What the hell are you doing?" I questioned him as he turned back to look at me, he was grinning.
"You said you can't ride. I'm about to show you how." He was holding his hand out to me, I just stared at him for a moment before slowly climbing over the fence and landing beside him.
We approached the horse and Shawn ran his hand down its head "Now, Adri. This is a horse, they are beatiful creatures, in the old days they were a great help-"
"Please tell me you didn't bring me out here just to give me a horse lecture?" I said making him glare at me.
"Just listen. Please" he said annoyed and shook his head making his long ass earrings swing, I grinned as he patted the horses back "Women. Now all you have to do is hop up and ride."
I crossed my arms "I could reply something assholish. But, I'm pretty sure you say that kinda stuff to every girl" I said as he swung himself up on the horse and looked down at me.
"Not every girl. Now, hopefully on up here little lady and we will go for a ride" he said steadying the beautiful brown horse. I made a face as I reached up for his hand and he grabbed mine, helping me up behind him onto the horse.
I gripped my arms around him for dear life and could feel him laughing "Adrienne, just relax" he said as the horse started to move and I closed my eyes tightly.
"When are the guys supposed to get here?" I asked, trying to take my mind off of the fact we were on a horse.
"By dinner. Are you alright?"
"Never better. But, uh, if you love those fancy boots you might should keep them out of my sight for a bit" I warned and felt him move his leg away, scared I would throw up on him.
We rode the horse around the field until it came to a stop and Shawn jumped down, he looked at me and smiled.
"Your turn, DarkKill."
I gulped "This is kind of high for us short people" I said, he held out his arms and wiggled his fingers.
"I'll catch you, shortie."
"No. I decided I am never coming down."
He laughed "If you never come down Vincey Wincey will fire you" he reminded me, I thought over that fact for a moment just as the horse started to neigh and stand on its back legs.
I screamed and jumped off the horse landing on Shawn, who was holding me in his arms laughing. I held my eyes close as I heard my idiot brothers laughing from the back porch.
"Alright, come on you two" my grandpa said as he held open the gate for Shawn who was carrying me, I had a grip on his shoulders as he set me on my feet outside of the gate.
"You are such a wuss!" Gary called and I heard Jed smack him, making the other three laugh.
As I held onto Shawn new voices entered. Ones I didn't wanna hear talk, or know, about me and my fear of horses.
"¿Quién hubiera pensado, el gran malvado DarkKill tiene miedo de un pequeño caballo?" Who would have thought, the great evil DarkKill is afraid of a little horse?
Eddie laughed at Rey as I opened my eyes to see ...a lot of wrestlers standing in the backyard.
"Um, hi?"
Hunter threw his gym bag down and crossed his arms "Yeah. Long story short, McMahon forgot to book us rooms. And we figured since we took you in many times that you would take us in?"
Shawn looked amused "Its like taking in stray dogs" he told me, I elbowed him in the ribs and smiled.
"Y'all can room with us. Just keep away from my dad, he has a temper."
My grandpa huffed "Temper? The man has anger issues."
I frowned at my grandpa as I rolled my eyes and my stepmother walked off the porch "Of course we have enough room. Grandpa can room with us for the time being and you can room in his home" she told them all.
And in that moment I felt uncomfortable...
Eddie, Hunter, Matt, Jeff, Owen Hart, Bret Hart, Scott Hall, Double J, The Smoking Gunns and The Roadie were all looking at my step mother like she was a southern Pamela Anderson or something.
I groaned and looked to Rey, Diesel, Mark and Glenn, the only googoy eyed ones left standing "Will you please guide these morons to the next house over?" I asked them and looked at Shawn.
He was staring where he shouldn't be at another woman, I stomped on his foot as I passed him and he yelled as I left the guys to go to the other house.
Men. Pigs. Stray dogs. But, mainly idiots.
