Joshua Hong - The New Resident

:: Six ::

After about two hours of bus ride, I finally reach the Gyeonggi Province bus station.

I dragged my luggage out of the bus and was making my way to the exit when I saw someone really familiar.

"Isn't that... Ommo, it is! Yah Moon Bin ah!!" I yelled.

Moon Bin smiled and waved to me, gesturing me to go to him which I did.

I then gave him a tight bear hug.

"N-Noona! Can't breathe!" He cried.

"Oops, mian! I'm just shock and excited to see you! Why are you here?" I ask after releasing him.

"Imo told me that you're coming back for the weekends so I figured I came to pick you up" says Moon Bin.

"Awhh, you didn't have to but gomawo Bin ah" I said while pinching his cheek.

"Aishh Noona!" He whined and I giggled.

"Kaja, come over to my place" I said.

"That's what I'm here for, also because I heard that Kyung Mi Noona is here" says Moon Bin.

"Mwo? Unnie is here already?" I ask.

"Oh yeah, she arrived yesterday night" says Moon Bin.

"Then let's hurry home Bin ah!!" I exclaimed and literally pulled him out of the bus station.

Moon Bin is my younger cousin from my father's side and he currently lives in Gyeonggi, Anyang.

Though, he isn't born there.

Bin is born in Cheongju, Chungbuk but his family moved to Gyeonggi.

Anyways, after about an hour or maybe more, we're finally home.

"I can't wait to see Unnie!" I exclaimed while running for the door.

"I'm home!!" I yelled.

"Aishh kamjjakiya! Yah, no yelling in the house!" Eomma says while slapping my shoulder.

"Ah Eomma! It hurts!" I cried and she scoff.

"Yah Eomma, don't you miss me?" I ask with a pout.

"Aigoo, don't pout and change out of your uniform. And take a shower" says Eomma while walking into the kitchen.

I gave a blank face while sighing.

'A nice way to reunite with your kid', I thought sarcastically.

But whatever!

Eomma is usually like this so I don't mind hehe.

"Bin ah, make yourself comfortable, I'll be in the shower" I said.

"Arasseo" says Moon Bin and I headed to take a shower.

After a nice hot shower, I came out and heard Bin talking to someone.

And that someone is my lovely older sister Yoo Kyung Mi!

"Unnie!" I exclaimed and jump onto her.

"Yah Ro Eun ah!" She exclaims and put me down.

"How are you Unnie? How long will you be here?" I ask.

"I'm doing fine and I'll be here for a week" she says.

"So you're leaving next weekend?" I ask.

"Ani, next Friday" says Unnie and I sighed.

"Guess I can't see you at the airport then. I got class" I said.

"Gwaenchana, studies are more important anyways" says Unnie and I smiled.

"Ah geundae Noonas, where's Woo Shin?" Moon Bin ask.

"Oh yeah! Where's my favourite little brother?" I ask.

"Eomma said he's at a friend's birthday party and will be back by this evening" says Unnie.

"Oh wow, and he's only 10" I commented.

"That's our little brother you're talking about" says Unnie while knocking my head.

"Alright kids, time to eat! Bin-ie join in as well" says Eomma.

"Kamsahabnida Imo"

"Gomawo Eomma!"

Eomma puts a smile and continues her kitchen work.

"Ah Eomma, where's Appa?" I ask.

"Hmm, oh he has his Saturday classes but he'll be back soon" Eomma says.

I simply nodded while we continued making conversations.

"Aigoo Noona, you didn't have to walk me though" says Moon Bin.

"Come on! If I stay home I got nothing to do!" I whined.

"You know... Sometimes I wonder if you're really my older cousin" He says.

I made a face before slapping his shoulder.

"Yah!"

"Joking Noona!" he says while laughing and I smiled.

"Alright go, I'll just take a walk around here" I said.

"Arasseo, annyeong Noona!" Says Moon Bin and we wave goodbye.

I then began to walk around the neighbourhood when the smile on the face fell.

"Why are you here?" I ask coldly.

"I... I wanted to see you" He says.

"But I don't want to see you" I said and walk away but he held my hand.

"Jamkkanman Ro Eun ah" He says.

"Let me go" I said.

"Just, hear me out!" He cried.

"I don't want to see you Kim Won Sik!" I yelled and yank his hand off mine and I ran away.
