The Ursa I was fighting immediately went docile.
Me: "Salem? Like the Witch trials?"
Salem: "I wasn't aware there were trials for being a witch."
Me: "That's beside the point. What do you want?"
Salem: "Right to the point, huh. Im here to make a deal. You join me and in return I will give you whatever you heart desires."
Me: I've heard something like this before, and it didn't end well for me.
"If I joined you, what would I be fighting for?"Salem: "You'd be fighting for me, as my champion."
Me: Yeah, she's evil. Guess I have to kill her. I'm out of bullets, so melee it is. I can't beat her ass from over here though, so I'll have to approach her. I stepped down from the pile of bodies. "And you said you'd give me anything I want, right?"
Salem: "Yes, that is correct."
Me: "That's a good deal...." I reached forward, going for a handshake. She reached her hand out to meet mine.
Me: "...Too bad your already dead." My outstretched hand shot forward through her surprisingly delicate body. She couldn't even scream as my fist came out of her back. She spit black blood onto my helmet. As the Ursa begind me disintegrated, she looked up at me with betrayed eyes.
Salem:"Why?"
Me: "Because you're evil." I said, dropping her to the ground. She closed her eyes and I felt myself grow strong again.
OZPIN POV
I couldn't belive my eyes. Salem, the enemy I have been preparing to fight for a millennia, was just killed with a single blow to the chest, and by a student, no less. I looked over and Glynda, wondering if she saw the same thing. Glynda had fainted.Your POV
Me: "Why the hell was I able to draw strength from her but not the Grimm. That's Bullshit." I walked off in a random direction, looking for a temple.
Timeskip
I finally found something resembling a temple. The relics Ozpin was referring to appeared to be chess pieces. As I reached for a chess piece, the sound of engines filled my ears. I turned around and was met with an airship. It landed and opened its bay door, revealing Professor Ozpin, Glynda Goodwitch, a man in a white suit with what appeared to be a prosthetic hand, and a man in a cape with a very large sword.
Ozpin: "Y/N. We need to speak with you. Immediately."
I quickly stepped on board, knowing that this was serious. The bay doors closed and the ship took off. As soon as we were in the air, Ozpin spoke.
Ozpin: "First off, you've passed the exam with flying colors."
Glynda: "OZPIN!"
Ozpin: "But that is not the reason why we needed to speak with you. You see, you have just done something my colleagues and I have spent years preparing for. In case you don't understand how monumental your actions were, I would like to introduce my colleague, James Ironwood. He is the leader of the military."
I saluted.
Me: "What about him? Who does he lead?" I pointed to the caped man.
Ozpin: "This is Qrow Branwen. He gathers information for me."
Me: "oh"
Ozpin: "The reason we are here is to inform you of the significance of what you've just done. When you killed Salem, you ended a war that has been going on for countless generations. Congratulations.
Ironwood: "Congratulations."
Qrow: "Congratulations kid."
Glyda: "Congratulations."
Ozpin: "Now, the curriculum of my school has changed significantly, but that does not mean you won't have to attend it. We will be having an acceptance ceremony at Beacon as soon as we return.
My mind was having trouble comprehending every that was just said.
Y/N: "So I passed?"
Ozpin: "Yes Y/N, you passed."
Y/N: "Alright, sweet. When do I get to fight more things."
Ozpin laughed.
Ironwood: "I like this kid, Oz."
