Third pov
The Pearl. The club that everyone who was something went to. Phoenix could not belive she actuall was there. Her black button up shirt went well with her dark blue jeans and black heels. Though she did stand out from the crowd a little.
"I'm a guest of Mr Verone." She told the bouncer and he let her in.
Phoenix loved people. Crowds were where she thrived. It was one of the things that drew her to racing.
She navigated through the moving bodies inside as she looked around for the man that had asked her to come.
Carter smirked as he saw Phoenix move through the crowd. She was gorgeous and he noted the heads turning as she walked by, both men and women.
She was obviously looking for him and he motioned for one of the server girls to bring her here.
"Miss Cortez?"
Phoenix nodded. "Yeah?"
"Mr Verone asked me to show you to him." The woman walked once she was sure Phoenix followed. Carter stood inside the VIP lounge. "Let her in."
The buff guy opened for Phoenix to step in.
"I'm glad you came." Carter motioned for her to sit in one of the big comfy couches.
"Okay, you have my curiousity. What is it you want?"
Next chapter will be longer but i have a few questions for you guys.
