Put up or shut up.

Chapter one.

"Katrina! Get up!" I'm woken up by my best friend jumping on my bed.

"Jack, you're seventeen for fucks sake. Stop jumping on me, you tosspot." I grumble and grab his leg. This, of course sends him toppling over on top of me.

"Jeez Kat, if you wanted me, you could've just said so." He says, a smirk appearing on his face.

"Yeah. Cause I just really love your 500 pound body laying on me." I scoff.

Jack lets out a gasp at this. "Ouch, Kat. You don't insult a woman about her weight."

I laugh as Jack starts to fake cry.

"Okay, you big baby. Get out so I can get dressed. " I shove him off my bed and stand up.

"Finally!" He shouts and runs off to the kitchen. Laughing to myself, I pull on some ripped skinnies and an old GreenDay t-shirt. After putting on my converse and a beanie. I grab my phone and walk toward the kitchen.

When I walk in, I'm not at all surprised to find four scrawny teenage boys siting at my table. My mum looks over at me from the stove

"Morning, love. Are you hungry?" She asks me.

"No thanks. I'm not feeling hungry thanks though." I reply whilst giving her a hug and grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge.

"So boys, what's the plan for today?" I ask as I lean against the counter, facing the boys.

"Well, we were thinking we would head to the music shop for strings and new drumsticks and then have a wonderful day filled with homework and writing songs." Alex informs me through mouthfuls of food.

I nod. And look at my mum.

"I'm fine with it. If it gets too late just text me and you can stay at one of the boys houses." she says.

I thank her and run to my room to get my wallet, keys and new Sum 41 album.

After waiting for the boys to finish eating, we head out the door to my car. As I was the only one of us with my own car.
