Bad Guy - Billie x female

Thursday 7th February

Im awoken by a pounding headache and sit up quickly.
"Ow fuck" I grumble and get out of bed to get myself some painkillers and water. I take the painkillers and down the water.

I knock on Emily's door "Hey Emily I'm just gonna take a shower is that okay?" I start to open the door.
"Don't come in!" Emily shouts. Despite Emily's warnings I creek the door open to see her with the same guy as last night.
"OH MY GOD CLOSE THE DOOR!" She yells.
"Holy shit I've been blinded!" I shout.
"What the heck is going on?" Poppy comes out of her room to investigate the shouting.
"Emily's in there with a... male" I shudder
"I was just checking if it was alright to have a shower in case she wanted one first"

Poppy sends a disgusted face my way and I nod in agreement.
"By the way, she's 16 so you better be under 20 and treating her well otherwise I'll cut your dick off!" I shout and then enter the bathroom.

I come out of the bathroom, drying my hair in the towel.
"Morning" I sigh and get myself some breakfast before taking a seat with Emily, Poppy and that dude called Noah... I think?

"So how old are you?"
"17" Noah seems unnerved at my interrogation.
"Have you got a criminal record?"
"No. Why are we doing this?"
"Maddie leave him alone" Emily hisses and I shrug.
"Sorry but you're like a little baby" I frown.

Aside from Noah, I've been feeling kinda anxious.
I haven't talked to Billie since last night and all I really remember is the argument so I hope we're not on bad terms.
She was really trying to be the boss of me last night.

I throw my bag onto the desk in Sociology after skipping the entire of the morning/form period. I lay my head on my arms on the desk trying to ignore the continuous headache and ringing in my ears from the hangover.
"Maddie, you okay?" Ella nudges me and I grumble.
"Just a bit hungover" I groan as I sit up and get out my paper and pen.

Today, Billie is sat at the desk next to mine and Ella's and we keep making awkward eye contact. This sucks.

At the end of the class, I have a free period luckily. I get another glass of water and head back to the study room.
"Pssst"
I look around, trying to find where it was coming from.
"Pssst"
I finally spot her. Of course she has to have the same free period as me. Rolling my eyes, I exit the study room and try to find somewhere else.

Billie's hand grips onto my wrist and I spin around to meet her sad eyes.
"What?" I scowl
"Why are you avoiding me?" She inquires, still keeping a firm hold on my wrist.
"I'm not avoiding you and please let go of me"
She drops my wrist "Yes you are!"
"Can we take this somewhere else? I don't want to argue here..." I mumble and she nods in reply.

We walk around the school to try and find some place private. Eventually we come across a classroom that wasn't being used.
"Why are you avoiding me? We sorted everything else out last night!"
"Did we though? From what I remember we argued in the car and you dropped me home!"

"Yes we did. You said you forgave me"
"We'll I was drunk, Billie. I was drunk." I put emphasis on drunk to make it clear to Billie I didn't mean whatever a said last night.
"Fuck Mads, I told you something and you don't even remember!" She leans against the wall.
"What was it? If you told me last night then you can do it now." I say with a sarcastic tone.
Billie stays silent and I nod my head
"So you can't even tell me." I chuckle to myself.

I start to leave the room "I like you, Mads" she whispers and I turn around to face her.
"I really like you" she frowns "and I don't know how to handle it because I thought I was straight for 18 years of my life. I can't tell you because I can't even tell myself that, guess what, I'm... I'm" she shakes her head "fuck it. I'm gay, Mads"

After her saying that, I just break down "I just don't get why you had to embarrass me in front of everyone. It's humiliating Billie! I was made to look so undignified just because you couldn't admit that you're gay."
"It's hard for me to say that I am and I'm sorry I made you feel that way. I'm honestly so disappointed in myself. Please understand"
I take a breath, calm down "I understand but that doesn't fix anything."  And leave the room.

"Maddie please! Wait!" Billie chases after me, shouting my name. "Leave it, Bil. You've said all you needed to"
"But I haven't done what I've needed to."
I stop walking and turn to look at her.
"And what would that be?"
Billie presses her lips onto mine and I relax into her. I end the kiss and look around.
"People saw that Billie" I whisper.
"I don't care as long as I get to kiss you" she smiles and bites her lip.

"I really like you too, Bil" I smile and a grin takes over Billie's face.
"I promise I'll make it up to you." She takes my hands and I intertwine our fingers.
"Come over tonight?" She asks and I nod before attaching my lips to hers again.

"Billie, I know you came out to me today but that doesn't mean you can all of a sudden constantly kiss me" I smirk and Billie frowns jokingly.
"Why not?" She mumbles before leaning in and planting a kiss on my lips.
"Because I need to breathe" I laugh and she throws a cushion at me.
"Rude!" I wack her with the cushion she just threw.
"Okay, okay" she laughs, steals the cushion and throws it on the floor.

"Let's fall in love for tonight and forget in the morning!" We scream-sing in Finneas' ear, making fun of him.
"Play me a song that you like you can bet I'll know every line"
"Shut up" he laughs and pushes us away from him.

"So how was school?" Maggie asks us as we eat our dinner.
"It was great" Billie sends a smile my way and Maggie seems taken aback
"Since when did you find school great?"
"Since today"

"Do you have a relationship, Maddie?" Maggie smiles gently.
"Almost" I briefly look over at Billie who sends me a cheeky wink.
"What are they like?"
"Shes funny and romantic. Not only that but she's so beautiful and she has the most piercing eyes." I see Billie blush "However she's also a bit of an idiot."
Maggie laughs at my statement and starts cleaning up the plates.
Billie give me a 'fuck you' look and I reply with a grin.
"Thank you for the food, Maggie, you're a great cook"

Billie follows me to the front door.
"Am I really a bit of an idiot?" She smirks.
"Sometimes" i wrap my arms around her neck and she wraps her arms around my waist.

"Do you have to go?" She frowns.
"No I don't but I should" I bury my face into the crook of her neck.
"Stay over" She whispers in my ear and I shake my head, pulling away from her.
"Please?" She gives me puppy dog eyes
"Fine but only if you watch Stranger Things with me" I smile.
"Deal"

After binge watching the entire of Season 1, we get ready for bed and I climb into the covers with her.
"You're so beautiful" she whispers as we lay in the dark which hides the blush that's creeping on my skin.
"So are you" I cuddle into her and wrap my arms tightly around her frame. Billie kisses my head and then closes her eyes to get to sleep.

She falls asleep soon after that which leaves me awake by myself.

I love this girl so much. I hope the feeling is mutual. What if it isn't? What if she's faking it? Stop overthinking.

"You're still awake?" I hear Billie whisper tiredly and I check the time. I've been fidgeting for just over half an hour.
"Sorry, did I wake you?"
"It doesn't matter, what are you thinking about?" She sits up
"Don't worry about it. I just can't sleep" I give a reassuring smile. She gives me an unconvinced nod and lies back down.
This time she pulls me into her, holding me protectively until I fall asleep. Eventually, I relax into her and let the outside world fade away.
