"There you are," Jane said when I get to Auradon Prep. If I forgot to mention me and Jane have gotten a lot closer since the whole wand incident. She told me she has a thing for Nick. I told her to be careful of him.
"Here I am," I tell her. While we were discussing planning Carlos and Jay walk up.
"Hey Lily," Carlos said.
"Hey Carlos," I said.
"I was wondering... uh... if you liked the... carrot cake last night," Carlos said. So close.
"I had the pumpkin pie," I tell him.
"Oh, cool. Um, uh--," Carlos stutters as Jay leads him away.
"Smooth," I hear Jay say. I chuckled.
"Lily. Dress fitting now please," I hear Evie say.
"Yes, I am coming," I tell her.
"Now Lily or like I told Mal you will be in your bathrobe," Evie says.
"You know I have other clothes, right?" I ask her.
"But this dress is going to be special," Evie tells me.
"I can hardly wait to see what your wedding will look like!" Lonnie says.
"Me, too. Wait! What?!" Mal asks stunned.
"The Royal Cotillion is like getting engaged to be engaged to be engaged." Jane explains.
"I knew it!" Evie said.
"Well, everyone knows it," Lonnie said.
"I thought I told you. I had it written down," I explained.
"I didn't know it! How come nobody told me that? Is my entire life just planned out in front of me—" Mal says as Ben walks up.
"Hi, Mal," Ben says.
"Hi, Ben," said Lonnie, Jane and Evie.
"Oh, oh. Quick moment," Jane says pulling me and Ben to the side.
"Uh..." Ben stutters.
"All right, they're almost finished with the surprise for Mal's big night. Lily, Belle. But the one you designed for Mal is my favorite," Jane explains.
"Excuse me..." I said looking fake shocked.
"Make sure her eyes are green." [to Mal] Uh... see you later."
"Okay," Mal says.
"Which green should they use?" Jane says as she shows up three greens.
"Uh... This one," Ben and I say together.
"I think it will be prefect Ben. I can't wait to see her reaction," I tell him as Evie pulls me away.
"Hopefully like yours," Ben tells me. I smile.
