The Beginning Of Hell

New college where nobody knew me, and I don't know anyone. I'll probably end up being the social outcast once again. Story of my life. Well, this year should be fun.

I moved to England because it's always been a dream of mine to live here. I came by myself, since I'm eighteen now I didn't need my parents following me everywhere I went. Although they miss me, I know they'll be fine on their own. My little brother Ryan seemed pleasant with my new vacant bedroom, which he'd now take over.

Considering I barely had any friends, it wasn't too hard saying goodbye. I've never really had a true bestfriend who's always stuck by my side through the good and bad. I was sort of hoping I'd find someone like that here. I could even get myself a better reputation than "that nerdy girl over there". Although it's a lot easier said than done.

As I drove up into the schools parking lot near where my dorm room was, I caught people glancing at my blue Prius. It made me feel nervous, like people were already so judgmental just by the type of car you drive. That whole new reputation thing, might just turn out to actually be a living hell.

I parked in a vacant spot and got out of my car, heading my way to the front doors of the building. I bumped into a girl; blonde, blue eyes, and a fit body. She apologized for the mishap, as well as I.

"I'm Lisa.", she said. "I'm Scarlett.", I replied. "Nice to meet you, what dorm room are you in?" "Room 224. You?" She smiled brightly as she said, "Mine too, looks like we're roommates. What a coincidence!" She laughed and I smiled back at her. She seemed nice and normal. Although I'm catching a drift that she's some type of party girl.

We walked up to our room together and as we walked inside my eyes wondered around. It was not too big, but not too small. The perfect size for two. It was very efficient and clean. Maybe this won't be too bad.

We decided who's bed was whose, and continued to unpack on each side. Soon enough, we were finished, and we each plopped down on our beds.

"So, what do you do for fun?", she asked me. "Uhm, nothing much, sometimes read or write. Listen to music.. I'm pretty boring, and you?", I reply. "I like going out to the parties every Friday night! They're so much fun! You should come with me this Friday!" Ahh, so I was right. She is a party-type of girl.

"Uhh, I don't know. Parties aren't really... my thing.", I say hesitantly. Honestly, I wouldn't mind going if it weren't for the fact I'm so used to being the "outcast", how am I supposed to act like one of them? "Oh come on, you have to go. Cute frat boys will be there, and I bet I can make you look ten times as hott as you do, and they'll be all over you!"

"Fine, Ill go, but it's not for the boys.", I roll my eyes, laughing. "Sure it isn't. Well, we should head to our first classes. I'll see you later?" I nod as she and I walk off going our separate ways to our first classes.

I walk into my home room class only to find no seats to sit in. Embarrassing as it already is, I just continue toward the back of the class where a certain guy with dark haired curls seemed to be chatting with a few other handsome guys.

One of the boys seemed to notice my presence and pointed me out. Causing the mysterious dark curls one to turn around and come face-to-face with me. Inside I was nervous, but I tried to shake it off the best I could.

"Can I help you with something, love?" he asked me. His accent was strong, his green eyes piercing, and enough cologne to make any girl melt within a second.

I quickly shake my head, and return to reality. "Uhm, I was just looking for an extra seat.", I answer shakily. Damn, so much for confident Scarlett.

"Yeah sure, you can sit here." He gestured toward the seat next to his. I blushed a light shade of pink, hoping he wouldn't notice, and took a seat beside him.

He looked over at me, I could tell he was scanning my body up and down. I didn't feel uncomfortable about him doing that, just if he thought bad of it.

"So what's your name love?", he asked me randomly. "Uhm, it's Scarlett. And yours?", I replied, quieter than what I wanted.

"Harry, Harry Styles."
