"WHAT? YOU'RE STILL MAD?"Chris drove me home yesterday with an angry expression but he came back to my humble abode and wait for me in the living room with his moody eyes because we're going on an official date, his words actually.
"Of course I am! No one just intentionally flirts with three guys!" Chris yelled and flailed his arms but I found it funny, meaning that this guy was jealous.
I raised my eyebrow, "Oh really? So what's that pink stain on your left cheek?"
He sighed.
"Well.." Chris mumbled.
"What?" I tapped my shoes repeatedly until he burst out the truth.
"My mom." Chris replied sheepishly while scratching his neck. His neck was mostly red and the tip of his ears were red enough to be seen.
"Pft, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA." I laughed while touching my stomach.
Chris blushed and suddenly groaned out loud. "Just shut up and do your thing. I'll meet you in the parking lot.
I strolled into my penthouse and saw Mandy, leaning on the couch upside down. I stifled a chuckle but quickly went to the bathroom to change my clothes and do my makeup. I went inside my bedroom put some blush and a pink-red lip gloss. Then I picked out a grey hoodie with short sleeve and a grey sweatpants to match my upper clothes. I dashed outside, considering the fact that Chris hated me being late and must be on time. Stupid rules and stupid brain.
But I like it.
I flustered and my whole body felt like fire. Wow Hails, getting bold now are we?
I spotted Chris eyeing me up and down and gave me a thumbs up, I grinned cheekily but it disappeared when Chris suddenly turn his thumbs upside down.
What. Is. Going. On. Now?
I practically feel my ears burned red and hot and my face heated up similar like a tomato. My eyes felt blurry and I realized that I almost let a tear out of my eyes. The dumbass noticed my eyes and rushed towards me and grabbed my shoulders tightly.
"What's wrong?" the dumbass asked, worried that something was hurting me.
"Y-you just turn your thumbs upside d-down. What's that supposed to mean?" I sobbed and buried my face on his shirt. While I palmed my hands to fists and I hit his chest once.
Then, he laughed.
"Are you mocking me?!" I almost slapped Chris but he stopped me by grabbing my wrists and hold my hands with his hands between us.
"I'm implying that you should get changed again because we're going to a dinner and wear formal. Not an arcade or a fair." Chris stifled a laugh and I choked in the air by the ridiculous truth.
"You're so dramatic," he patted my butt and said, "Go change."
I huffed and went upstairs to my penthouse. Minutes later, I arrived with a red pailin sheer lace dress with black stilletos. Chris was satisfied with my choice of clothing, then we went to the restaurant that he reserved a while ago. We arrived shortly and the waitress already had given us our meals and desserts.
How can the waitress knew my favourite-
Just like Chris can read my mind, he answered my question that I was thinking on my mind.
"I told them earlier." Chris answered with a warm smile and I immediately flustered.
"Ha-ha great." I said to no one in particular. Just to lessen my flustered face.
We ate our meals in silence and Chris stole a glance on me every ten minutes. Just to see that I was satisfied with the food and ate it well. I hope the date went well, since my friends told me that every first date were meant to be awakward but I managed to lessen it and tried to enjoy for the sake of Chris.
But a guy like Chris always could make my heart in ease and comfortable.
