"I'm starting to think that this is a terrible idea," Liz said.

"Look. I'll be just fine," I argued.

"Can you come see me for five seconds?"

"Sure?" I'm not sure why, but I followed the vent to where Baby was, and stood up to see Liz sitting on the front desk, crying. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked, reaching out to her.

"I feel like you shouldn't have done this," Liz wept. "Everything is going wrong and you could die and I don't know what could happen after that."

"Hey, hey," I consoled. I then remembered I could touch her, and put my hand on her arm. "Everything up until now has been a breeze. And if I get past Freddy and Foxy... that should be the hardest part, right?" Liz nodded. "I'm gonna be okay." I offered a hug and she took it, and we held onto each other for a while.

"It'll be alright," I said. "Just guide me through everything, because I might not want to turn on my flashlight. Do I have to be quiet, too?"

"No," Liz replied with a little more control in her voice. "Make all the noise you want. They're motion activated. Well, they're already activated, but as long as they can't see you, you should be just fine."

"Alright. You can see them, right?" I asked. Liz nodded again.

"If I say that they know where you are, run. Run run. I'll guide you to the door, but run. They can't. They're big, but if you can outpace them-"

"I'll be okay."

"Right. And if they catch you, pray that Dad won't kill you too."

"Me too?"

"It's true, you know. About him killing everyone else."

"I figured..." I sighed.

"But don't worry about it. Right now, worry about getting past Freddy and Foxy. And then we'll talk."

"Alright. I'm gonna go back now." Liz and I hugged one more time before I headed back to the main control room.

"I'll let you know when to go and when, and the best time to go into the room is now."

"Okay," I said, not moving.

"Now!" Liz cried. "Go, go go!"

"Ah, right!" I pushed open the vent to Funtime Auditorium and crawled through. I slowly stood up and shut the vent, squinting and looking for the two robots Liz told me to look out for.

"I can't see crap," I chuckled.

"Obviously." Liz grumbled. "And by the way, Freddy is right in front of you. So don't move." I sucked in a breath and tried to stay as still as I could.

"When's he going to leave?" I whispered through my teeth.

"Give it a minute." After a minute, I heard footsteps walking away from me. "Okay. Walk forward... and to the right." Following Liz's instructions, I creeped forward and to the left of where I was standing, and for a minute or two, I thought I was going to make it.

"Michael, Michael, run! Run run!"

They saw me.

I started to run in a blind panic, not caring where I was going, not caring if I ran into anything.

"Okay, keep running, but you need to find the door!" Liz freaked out. "If it's the wrong door, turn around and run until you get to the other door! Okay?"
