Belle had always been a book lover, but her life was about to be shaken the day she stumbled upon a book called "Darker Days Downward" from the old stuffs of her mum who recently passed away from a tragic accident. It was a horror-fiction novel about the life of a rich and powerful French vampire during the 18th century; about his struggles with every last bit of humanity left with him and how he would reap out his victims ruthlessly all over the streets of Paris at night.
Belle falls in love with the novel's character page after page of reading it. She felt like she had known the vampire very well and she could see through his eyes. The book was very much compelling that she could see behind the devil was actually a lost man yearning for love.
One day at school, for no apparent reason their old history professor disappeared and a new professor was in to take over. But to her surprise, her new professor looks very much identical with the vampire of the book she was reading.
Her life went more into haywire as she uncovered day after day several similarities with the vampire she was reading and their latest history professor.
At the end of the day she found herself asking three questions. First, was it actually the book's character coming to life? Second, Are vampires for real? and third, is she bound to fall in love with him like how she had loved the vampire from the book?
