Zach's POV

"Doctor! How is she?" I asked worriedly.

"Stable for now,therefore you need to be more positive towards her" he replied.

"When can i take her home?" I asked once again.

"In few hours" with that said he left me staring out the door of my wife's room.

Knocking twice , i entered with a small smile on my face, walking towards her ,i stood besides her as i saw her chest rise and fall steadily.

I shouldn't have lied or kept secrets from her,she doesn't deserve this , she needs to know the truth about James.

"Roni" I whispered trying my best to wake her up.

She moved slightly and her eyes shot open , taking in her surroundings she then looked at me ,a look that said so many words and the same time no words at all, a look that made me look like a criminal in-front of her.

"Roni! I-"
"Don't talk to me" she cut me off , not even looking at me.
"I'll tell you the truth,anything you want to know" I honestly spoke.
"When" her voice cracked as she said above a whisper.
"We were in college , my best friend and i , we-we were drunk one night and it just happened, few months later i found out about her pregnancy and later she died giving birth to james because he came out to be premature,the doctor said that he isn't normal and so my mom and i kept him a secret ,roni he-, he's my life" a small smile appeared on my face as i thought about my son.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She asked.
"I don't know" i replied truthfully.
"He sounds like an intelligent little baby" she suddenly shocked me with her phrase,i looked up at her only to see her half smiling.
"He is" i nodded my head.
"I haven't forgiven you Zach and I'm not sure if I'll ever forgive you,but because i talked with James ,i want to meet him and not for you but for him" she said sternly.
"Ok" i whispered as i got up and walked away.

Veronica's POV

"He has a what?" Ashlyn was now screaming as i told her about James and how zach kept him a secret from everyone, i wonder if Jonah knows about him.

"Ya,that is why i am in the hospital bed" i jokingly said.

"And you forgave him? That easily?" She scoffed unbelievably.

"I haven't,not yet but i am keen on meeting James" i smiled at the thought of the 5 year old.

"Good, he shouldn't be forgiven" she said.

"Has Jonah been in contact with you?" I asked randomly.

"No,I don't know where he is-"

"Speak of the devil and ye shall appear" came jonah's cheery voice from beyond the door.

I chuckled softly at his kiddish act and got up to hug him.

"Hmm you smell like medicine"he commented.

Punching him lightly on his shoulders ,i went back to the bed .

"And you smell like-" i was cut off by him as he added his word.

"Sex" he said making me raise my brow.

"Nope,not even close" i replied.

"But cmon ,girls drool over this" he said pointing at his body.

"And guys drool over this" i mimicked his action only to realize that he doesn't have boobs and i do, to which he was staring at,shrugging off my thought i heard him say.

"Oh you have no idea" he said under his breath.

"Anyways, I've got a flight to catch"Ashlyn said while getting up and kissing my cheeks.

"Bye" i yelled as she walked away.

It was time for me to ask him about james.

"Jonah?" I called him.

"Ya!"

"You consider me as a friend right?" I asked looking at him.

"Of course"

"So you would never hide anything from me that would hurt me right?" I asked looking closely at his reaction.

"Ya,why do you ask?"

"Then why didn't you tell me that zach has a son?" I asked tricking him into thinking that i knew but after seeing his expressions I got my answer.

"Roni i can explain-"

"You're a liar just like him,and i tusted you ,god I'm so stupid of course if he is a liar then so are his friends" I continued

"Go! Go away and never ever bother talking to me" i was almost crying as i said my goodbyes to him.

"I love you" is what i heard before he left or was it just my imagination?

A/N: I'm not so proud of this chp but hopefully the upcoming chapters will be adventurous.
