I had this idea while I was writting the other books, and began to think in the characters and in the story. Then I had the idea for the cover and made it! Now it's time for you to READ! Chapter 1

Faye's P.O.V.

I love the forest. It's the only place where I can be alone. And where I feel my magic stronger. That's right. Magic. I'm a witch. My name is Faye Volantis. But to keep my identidy a secret, I use the name Faye Summers. Why? I came from a family of really powerfull witches. And we are being hunted by other witches that want to take our amazingly strong powers for themselves. Obviously they wouldn't take my powers, but my mother was killed by one of those witches after she took her powers. My father? He died before I was even born. So I lived with my mother until she died when I was 8. After that I had to live alone. With no family and friends. Luckily I found an aunt that helped me. But she also died when I was 12. But she left me money so that I could continue school and get a job later. She was kind of rich. The rest of the money? She gave to my cousins, Elena and Katherine. But they were also killed 2 years ago. No one knows why and who killed them. They just appeared dead. And now I don't have a family. I'm always moving from a town to another to make sure that no one discovers who I am. Now, I'm in a town called Nashton. I've been living here for almost one year. The I'm going to move again. But only later. Lucky it has a forest near it. When I'm not at school or my work in the restaurant where I'm a waiter, I'm always in the forest having a walk. The forest is really beautiful. I just hate when I pass next to a tree or two, and some lower branches grab my beautiful brown and wavy hair. Sometimes I'm getting to work after a walk in the forest and I notice that I have some leaves in my hair. I have to go with a perfect look to my work. Don't ask me why. It's just a restaurant, I don't understand why I have to wear a uniform and look good with my hair all perfect and all that.

I've been walking for almost half an hour. I feel like someone is watching me. I'm always looking around but I just see the trees and the bushes. Nothing more. Not even a single soul. Not even a single animal. Not even a bird. I heard someone walking to me. Before I could turn around, someone touched my shoulder. I quicly turned around and saw a guy. He seemed to have my age but he hadn't. I have 17 and he? He must have around 100. Yes. Because he's a vampire. My family's witches have the abbility to feel people's souls. Strange uh? And vampires don't have a soul. But he didn't seem dangerous or anything. He was really beautiful. He was taller than me. Much taller. And had blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes like mine. Well, almost like mine. Mine are diferent. They are like a witch's eyes actually. A real witch's eyes. They are a blued grey eyes but with a little brown around the pupil. But I like my eyes. They're just different.

"Yes? Can I help you?", I asked curiously.

"Yes, I lost my dog here, could you help me find him please? I really love him... I don't know what I would do without him...", he said a bit sad.

"Yes of course! I'll help! I love dogs too. I wish I had one...", I said. It was true. I always wanted to have a dog.

He smiled and said, "Really? Thank you! He run in that way.", he pointed with his finger.
