He was at home alone while his band mates, with whom he shared a house with, had all gone on holiday with their other halfs. Dougie sat on the sofa in the 5 bedroom house watching Tele. He flicked through the channels and nothing interested him. Not even the amazing daytime TV that shows in England. He got up from the couch and went upstairs to the balcony, where his bass was leaning against the balcony furniture. He sat down and played a few of his masterpieces. He quickly scribbled down a few notes towards the new song that he and his band mates were working on. With a puzzled look on his face, he screwed the piece of paper up and dropped it on the floor. Along with the other ideas that had not sparked a brainwave.

He thought to himself, he had always pondered whether he would ever stop missing Frankie. He missed her but he was glad that he was free. He then had an odd thought: ‘it’s been 6 months since I last dated somebody, so that means I haven’t got laid in 6 months!’

Dougie thought about how much he missed the feeling of being so close with somebody. He went into the gleaming white bathroom,

‘Obviously Harry has been in here again.’ Mocking Harry’s Obsessive Cleaning Disorder.

He found condoms from 4 months ago and though ‘I won’t be needing these.’ He threw them into his room in disgust. He was getting more and more stressed about his situation. He thought of Tom and Giovanna and how much he envied them and yet how much he was so happy for them. He thought of how nice it must be for Tom to come back from tour to open arms full of love. He thought of how he needed somebody like that. Instead of going out and skating his troubles away like usual, he went to the fridge he opened the silver 'SAMSUNG' door and found that it was completely empty apart from a plate with a note on it. He picked up the sticky note and in Harry's stragally handwriting read:

'Hotel food is expensive mate! Harry' and in Izzy's bubbly handwriting wrote 'And Izzy! :) xx'

Dougie cursed to himself, 'Tight Arse' he said in a deep harsh tone.

He sunk back on his sofa and flicked through the Yellow Pages, he found the food section and the Pizza section. He scrolled through and found the closest pizza take-away to his mates and his house in the rural village of Brabourne. He dialled the number of 'Papa's Pizza'

A young girl answered: 'Hey, this is Papa's Pizza's, what can I get you?'

Dougie was almost relieved to finally hear somebody's voice after 3 days on his own. He replied

'Sup, erm can I have a spicy sausage pizza please?....Oh and a Coke!' Dougie added.

'Hah, yeah sure. Is that Large or Extra-Large Pizza?' The girl on the other end of the phone queried.

'Hahaa you tell me!' Dougie joked, although he worried that he had gone too far.

'Ah, Dude. You've lightened up my day! I'll take it that's an Extra Large?!' The girl joked in a sexy and giggly tone.

'You know me well!' Doug replied.

'Okay, whereabouts d'ya live?'

'Ermm.. Manor House, Brabourne' Dougie clearly spoke because of the amount of times that people had mistaken it for Manor Lane. The other side of town.

'Okay Dude, the pizza will be with you shortly. See ya!' The girl ended the conversation but Dougie had her voice in his ears. She reminded him of his dream, where the girltalked like him, but was still feminine.

Dougie had time to kill, he went back up to the balcony and watched as the sun set over the trees. He waited ten minutes and as promised he saw a moving figure whizzing around the windy road that leads up to the long driveway. But instead of seeing a boy or girl on a little scooter he saw a long-legged brunette on a skateboard with high top converse, high waisted denim shorts and a zukie top on. He watched in amazement as the girl managed to pick up even more speed whilst keeping the pizza box on her hand. Dougie ran downstairs but didnt answer the door until she knocked.. 'I dont wanna sound desperate' Dougie thought.

He opened the massive white wooden door and it revealed a beautiful tanned 24 year old-looking girl with the deepest brown eyes that gleamed in the setting Kentish Sun. Dougie quickly stopped staring incase it scared her off.

'Hey, my pizza right?'

'Erm, yeah.. ' the girl looked at her piece of paper with the details on it. '..Hold on, your Dougie Poynter!'

Dougie was surprised at her reaction. But he liked beign recognised.

He itched the back of his head, 'Yep, that's me! And sick board by the way!'

The girl looked starstruck, but carried on cooly..

'Thanks, I got it when I went to California.' The girl exclaimed as she passed the electric blue board with pink and black graffiti patterns on it to Dougie. He examined it.

'So how come you got to go to Cali, holiday or something?'

'Erm..nope. I met Tony Hawke because I won a competition!' She flipped the board over in Dougie's hands. Its signed too!'

And as said, Dougie saw that his idol, Tony Hawke, the menace of skating, had signed the board.

'Epic! That's so cool. That guy is my idol!'

'You skate too? Nice! And yeah, he's my idol too..along with Blink 182!'

'Serious? Same!' Dougie was surprised that this girl had so much in common with him. 'Tom Delonge is a Legend!'

'I know right!' The girl was happy and shocked at the same time!' 'Sorry if I've got red, but Im such a big fan of McFly and your my favourite member!'

'Ahahaa, really? Most girls like Danny! God knows why!' Dougie joked.

'N'aww, bless!'

'Im on my own at the moment. The other boys have gone on holiday with their girlfriends! Typical leaving me out! Dougie joked again.

'Ahh, do you guys share this place?' The girl was curious.

'Erm yeah. I guess it's easier living together.' Dougie replied.

'It must be cool living and performing with your best mates for a living. Sweet place too!'

'You can have a look around if you want' Dougie was worried if he scared off this beautiful girl who seemed to have a lot in common with him. In his mind it felt like two minutes, but in reality it was actually two seconds. But he was reasured when she gratefully accepted. He opened the door wider, and made a gesture offering her in. She walked through the clean doorway. Dougie threw the pizza on the outside step. He was no longer interested in the pizza he was interested in the fit girl that he had alone in his house.

After 50 minutes the tour of the house was almost over. Dougie and the Girl, who introduced herself at last by the name of Lexie, had been everywhere but Dougie's bedroom. He hesitated, but carried on and opened the door. The room had a few items on the floor, but nowhere near as messy as Danny's room.

Dougie and Lexie had felt like they had known each other for ages, they had so much in common.

'And this is my bed! The comfiest ever!' Dougie exclaimed as he sprung ontothe bed and landed on the box of condoms that he had thrown in earlier. He quickly brushed them of his bed without Lexie realising.

'I think I'll be the judge of that!' Lexie flipped onto the bed next to him. 'Shit, this is comfy!' Lexie said as she sunk into Dougie's sheets.

Dougie flicked off his 'VANS' shoes onto the cream carpet. As he looked up he saw that Lexie was staring into his deep blue eyes. Before he could think of what was going through his head he pressed his lips against hers and pulled her body closer.
