Prologue.

Caesar was the perfect enigma.
The only things people at Crest Valley High really knew about him is that he was a great student and soccer player.
This was something Caesar appreciated. The less people knew the better. This doesn't mean he didn't have friends, quite the opposite. Caesar has lots of friends, he was quite a likable guy. He knew how to make people happy. He did this purposefully for attention. He didn't want his friends attention, he didn't want his fellow students attention, he wanted Maeve's attention. Because Caesar was selfish.
