Winter Stroll (prolouge)

        It was the time where winter was the most bitter, but for me this is my favorite timeof the year. As I strolled through the trail, I could feel the stillness of the forest, as if it were welcoming me to its silent secret it holds. As if all the life was holding its breath until spring came back again. The deep spirits of the trees understand me, though they are covered in the soft snow, they still allow some sunlight escape their grip. The sunlight also understands me, for it gently caresses my soul. But right now I do not have enough joy left in my heart to appreciate it. All that is in my heart right now is pain and betrayal.
