A Stone World: Senku x Oc (or reader)

Chapter 1

Asako POV

The day things all changed was a day like no other.... well almost a day like no other.....

"I'm finally gonna do it! Today is the day I tell Yuzuriha my true feelings!!!!!The feelings I've had inside for five years!" Taiju yelled out to Senku and I. Senku didn't look up from his experiment as he responded to Taijus elated state.

"Good luck buddy Asako and I will be yelling out rooting for you in support from up here in the chemistry building." Senko replies sarcastically. Senku Taiju And Yuzuriha And I had all been friends for years now. I met the boys when Yuzuriha had met Taiju and Senku and my Sarcasm quickly aligned and we had practically been inseparable ever since. He tolerates me as he says and I adore him constantly trying to make him blush or react to my flirtatious comments. He never does which makes the challenge all the more exciting.

"Really?!! You guys will?!?! Your the best!!!!!" He yelled putting his fists in the air enthusiastically. I chuckled at his gusto and quickly threw my hand over Senku's mouth as he was about to retort to the big oaf. i wasn't going to let him ruin Taijus hopes now. He and I had bet on when he would confess and so far I was winning. I then squeezed his cheeks and threw my face up to his.

"Of course we will and after you tell her your feelings we can go on a double date." I said wiggling my eyebrows at Senku. He rolled his eyes before Lightly shoving me away and returning to his experiments and I went over to Taiju and patted him on the shoulder.

"Well don't keep my best friend waiting!!!!! Get going big boy!" I said with gusto to which he nodded excitedly running out of the room.

"I can't wait for this to finally be put to rest." Senku said looking at the fuel injector cusps on his machine. He held his hand out for a tool and I grabbed the right one placing it in his hands.

"Me too. It's been five years in the making for both of them and I'm happy for them." I said happily as Senku put his hand out again for a second tool which I happily gave to him.

"Hm." Senku said unamused. After a few minutes I decided to go peek by the window to see what was about to happen. Taiju and Yuzuriha both standing down by the tree. He was yelling out to her about to confess his love to her when a green light started flashing in the middle of the city.

"Uhm Senku.....?" I said as I looked back at him. He looked up from his experiment for his eyes to widen seeing the green light in front of him. The green light quickly moved through the city and the second I felt its presence my body began to harden. I looked in fear at Senku who looked in fear back at me seeing my body harden before him.

"Asako!" He yelled before reaching his arm up to grab me. Mine automatically flew up to grab his hand in return but before either one of us could reach I felt darkness consume me and all I felt was darkness. I was completely awake though conscious of every thought or breath......what was happening? why was I swallowed by darkness? Where were my friends? I hoped Senku was at least near by. Knowing him he was trying to find a way to escape what was going on and if anyone was going to figure it out it was him.... I decided to wait seeing as there was nothing else I could do....

Waiting felt like an eternity and overtime I felt myself becoming more and more hopeless that anything would change. Minutes changed to hours, hours to days, day to years and so on.

I remember thinking of my friends a lot especially Senku as well as my life my family and how society was holding up if any part of society was even left. As time went on it became harder and harder to imagine his voice, his face. I felt him and Yuzuriha and Taiju become foreign in my mind. I missed my friends and wanted nothing more then to see them all to be able to restore these images that seemed to fog more and more in my mind with ever breath.
