As soon as Mrs.White started talking again, Luke looked at me and started talking “She’s a little grouchy sometimes.” I laughed and gave him a smile. “My names Luke, And you’re the new girl Alyx, right?” he said with a smile on his face, “Yeah, how did you know?”
I questioned “Molly told me about you and said I should get to know you.” he looked at me like I was an idiot for asking that. “Well heres my number, text me after school.” Luke said as he put his number in my phone. The rest of the day was slow and boring, all I wanted to do was get home and text Luke.
At 2 my mom picked Summer and I up. And brought us home. I ran upstairs, threw my bag on the floor and jumped onto my bed and texted the number Luke gave me. “Hey it’s Alyx! :)”, I waited 5 minutes with no response. So instead of seeming desperate I plugged my phone in and went downstairs to watch tv with Summer. I watched tv with her for about an hour until i heard my phone go off. I walked upstairs and I saw that Luke finally texted me back! “Hey, sorry I had football practice!”. Then we just started having a normal conversation.
