Chapter 12: A Happy Ending

[NARRATOR'S POV]

It has been 10 years since Shadow started dating Sonic. They have three wonderful children named Lily, James, and Scorpius. All are 5 years old now and learning how to run fast like their fathers. Sadly, Amy died from a disease that caused her heart to not function properly. Knuckles thought he would forever be lonely and depressed, but Rouge came in to help. They are now married too and have one beautiful child named Remus.

Everyday all the kids would play together in the park. Then Tails came along, but he was a single father with two kids named Snape and Minerva. His kids would often help him work on crafts and engineering.

Remus: "Why don't Minerva and Snape like to come out and play that often?"

James: "It's because they like helping their dad with his work!"

Lily: "Don't they get bored?"

Scorpius: "Maybe, but why do we pay attention to them? Let them live the life they want!"

Remus: "Agreed! Let's keep on playing tag!" He squealed and tagged Lily. This went on for years until school started. They couldn't see each other that often since they were set into separate classes, but over the weekends they would all study with one another.

15 years later and they were already in college....Tails passed away earlier than expected because of drug overdose, so Knuckles and Rouge took care of Minerva and Snape. Both children were in a depressed state since, but grew up to fill their fathers dreams in becoming a NASA worker.

Minerva: "Snape, what did you qualify in NASA?"

Snape: "Rocket engineering."

Minerva: "Awesome, I qualified for telescope studies."

Snape: "Cool!" He said with excitement. Remus however became a scientist, Lily became an artist, Scorpius became a famous music maker, and James became an actor. Soon, Rouge passed away due to blood loss in a car accident. All of her kids were astonished to hear, but they all knew people come and go.

A few months later, Knuckles passed away at the age of 67 from a heart attack. He left a letter for all of his children, even a letter for Minerva and Snape. The letter contained a large amount of money for all of them and a wishing for them to fulfill their dreams entirely. They did as told and used the money wisely.

Remus: "My lovely husband, Sirius, will enjoy our profits....We've always wanted kids and a big house."

Snape: "That's very nice to hear. My wife, Pansy, is a doctor and we both live in a large house. We don't want children, but instead have a lot of pets!"

Minerva: "My husband, Albus, works with me in telescope engineering. He loves knitting me beautiful patterns that we hang on the walls! We have a cat named Harry." Minerva finished. They all were happy with their future. Later on Lily, James, and Scorpius all told each other about their lifestyles too.

James: "I have a wonderful wife named Luna. She's also an actor! We love spending time together anywhere. Especially while making a movie together.."

Scorpius: "How lovely! My husband, Ron, is a famous composer. I absolutely love his work and all the different pieces he composes! We share a lot of musical facts with each other for fun sometimes. It's also extraordinary how he can control different kinds of instruments all at once!"

Lily: "That's awesome! My wife, Hermione, is a movie director! She works with James and Luna sometimes! We love each other a lot! When we have free time to visit each other, we usually travel around the world together!" She said. Everyone was happy with their life.

Sonic and Shadow passed away on the same day at the ages of 94 and 96. Everyone came to their funeral and placed a photo of their families together in their casket. Later on in life, their children had their own kids! Lily and her wife had a total of 5 kids, James and Luna had one kid, Snape didn't have children, Remus and his husband Sirius had three kids, Minerva had four kids with Albus, and Scorpius had two kids with his lovely husband Ron.

From that day forth, the family tree extended into many many wondrous and different places around the world. They were all sure that their great grandparents were all very proud of them.
