The Day Time Stood Still

Chapter 1

As Mr. Billings drove to work like he does 6 out of the 7 days a week. He turned on the radio and in a loud broadcast he heard these words "The President Has Been Shot!" It puzzled him for a moment. "Could this be true" he thought. "Could the President be really dead?" As he pulled up to the Nuclear Facility where he worked. He began to look around. The shock upon everyone's face shook him to his core. He asked around "Is The President Dead?" To no response no one would speak. It was like the whole town had stopped.

Chapter 2

As Mr. Billings frantically asked everyone he came in contact with "what is going on?" No one would answer! He began to ask himself "what is going on, I must find out what's happened!" So he got in his car ,and drove to his wife's boutique. He turned on the radio only to hear static. He turned to every station he could think but all he heard was nothing. "Why is this Happening" he screamed to himself. As he pulled up to his wife's shop. He leaped out of his car ,and ran through the door. To see his wife standing there. With zero movement he asked her "Baby are you in there?" To no response. He fell on his knees crying ,and weeping! Why is this happening he says once more.

"Maybe I'm dreaming" he said. "What if this is just a nightmare that I'll wake up at any moment." He thought. He then said "I'll just pinch my self yeah that's what I'll do!" He then pinched and pinched hisself. Each time he did the pain was worse in worse. For in fact this was no nightmare it was real!

Chapter 3

As he began to cry some more because of the pain he caused himself. He thought about his 2 children. He thought to himself "I have to see if they are ok!" Just like that he ran out of the store ,and leaped into his red 2017 Chevy Camaro that his wife got him for there anniversary! He drove down the towns streets as fast he felt comfortable going! As he neared the school which his daughters went. He noticed something in the road. He stopped suddenly! Almost hitting his head on the dashboard. "I've got to see what this is" he thought. As he neared the strange looking object he picked it up. As he healed this massive peace of metal he saw to buttons. A red one and a blue one. (Now in a sense Johnathon had always been very curious since he was a child) He thought to himself I must see what these buttons do. So he clicked the red one. When he clicked it the metal began to vibrate and it began to open! On the inside was a Creature of some kind. It looked at him and it said "My name is Quarf! I am the leader of an intergalactic Army. For the planet Zenith of the Werled Galaxy. You may wonder why everyone is standing still. It's because my planet has developed a weapon which can stop all time. This was our first test and we picked the humans to test it on." As Johnathon looked down at this Alien or something he thought "then why didn't it work on me" as he thought it Quarf asked If The human would kindly put his ship down, and so Mr. Billings did. Quarf looked at him and said lets take a walk shall we?"
