1. His

Where the concrete hits the sand is usually where I'd turn back around. But, tonight I felt a little different than I usually do. Least I feel more shittier than normal. Lifting my foot up slowly I placed it on the unevenly soft surface. Then the other followed along till I got to what was the halfway point of the sand to the water. I stared at it for a bit, the liquid substance that you can either sink or float in. When the memories began to arising I quickly turned away from the view. Most would find it peaceful, but I find it horrible.

Walking back up to where the concrete was, I began to think of my shitty life. No family. No friends. Nothing. Everyone found me to be a monster that couldn't existed. Only in the movies or the imagination of those who get scared easy. They assumed that they knew everything about me, to the point where I should be outcasted. They didn't bother to ask how I feel. They only thought about themselves like most people do. Nothing that is considered "normal" to them must be eliminated..

I remember a time where I was happy, but that was when I was 8 or 9. I don't remember the all of the memories, but I knew that was the time where I was content with life. The following years after were just complete shit. I use to be the nicest guy ever till how they treated me. But what does that matter? No one cares.

Letting out a light chuckle I looked back at the ocean. The way the waves crashed upon one another then to the sand.

Why not just give a little touch for the feel Calum?

Shaking my head in a lame disapproval, I listened to my thought. Walking slowly to the water I tried to keep my breathing well. When my shoes met the wet sand I squatted down. Letting my hand touch the wet sand I waited for the little wave. As I watched it slowly get closer I heard my text tone. Pulling my phone out of my pocket with my free hand I read it :

Puke: Where are you?

I quickly sent my usual reply :

Palum: somewhere.

Putting my phone in my back pocket, I got up and jolted away. Looking at my drenched sleeve the clear liquid dripped quickly down my hand. The little feeling of coldness fading away. Wiping my hand on my pants I turned back and headed back to the beach. Most would be cold from their whole hand to arm being drenched in sea water. Me? I could only lightly feel it from time to time. It happens for a strange reason that I'm not sure happened.

I'm half vampire.
