"RON! HARRY!" Mrs Weasley yelled from the Burrow kitchen. "GET DOWN HERE! WE NEED TO LEAVE FOR THE TRAIN OR WE'LL BE LATE!"
"COMING," The boys yelled back.
They carried their trunks down the long stairs of the burrow, down to the kitchen. Once they were down, they were greeted by Hermione and Ginny. Ginny gave her boyfriend, Harry a kiss on the cheek and Hermione did the same with Ron.
They got in the muggle car that Mr Weasley borrowed from the ministry, and drove off to platform 9 3/4.

They were thankfully just on time for the train, but that meant that there was no free compartments. The only one that had spare seats had Malfoy, Zabini and Parkinson in them. They looked everywhere else but that was their only hope. So they knocked on the compartment door
Blaise opened the door. "What do you want Potter?" He asked in a rude tone. you could hear Pansy groan at the sound of Harry's name.
"There is nowhere else that we can sit." Replied Harry
"Ok.. so?" Blaise answered.
Harry sighs very loudly. "Could we sit here?" He asks, "Please?"
Zabini, unsure of himself, turns to look at Draco. Pansy also stares at Draco. Draco sighs and says "Fine."
Ginny and Hermione smile as a thanks to them. Harry mutters a small thank you to them and Ron just looks plain miserable by the fact that he has to sit with Slytherins.
Pansy and Blaise moved to the other side to sit with Draco and so they didn't have to sit next to the Gryffindors.
Harry felt confused at the fact that they didn't really have to fight them to join them in the compartment. The fact that Malfoy didn't even seem bothered by the fact that his worst enemy was sitting in the same train compartment as him, made Harry think that maybe. Just maybe. They could become friends this year.
The whole first quarter of the train ride, nobody spoke. Draco kept opening and closing his mouth to speak but couldn't find the words. Harry looked up to see Draco looking like he had a hex sent on him making him unable to speak. Harry chuckles quietly, but then realized that everyone was silent so they probably just heard him.
He was right. Draco looks at Harry and glares at him for a few seconds before asking, "What the bloody hell did you just laugh at. I don't see anything funny here at all."
Harry just glares back at Draco, and for the first time Draco noticed how Potters eyes really were as green as emeralds. He then blushes like mad at the fact that Potter probably saw him staring at him. He looks at the floor ashamed he even thought of that.
"UGH!" Sighs Pansy very loudly. "This is so boring. Why don't we play a game or something?"
"Yeah! Good Idea Pans! But what game...?" says Blaise.
"Hmmm.." She thinks, "TRUTH OR DARE!" She practically screams.
"Yeah!" says Blaise, "Anyone up for it?"
"Hmm fine" Says Harry, and soon the other Gryffindors agree to play too. Draco finally agrees after much bugging from Pansy.
'Ok I'll start" says Pansy, "Truth or Dare..... Draco!"
Draco groans. "Truth I suppose" He says.
"Hmmm... Ok..." She thinks out loud. "Tell us truthfully what your sexuality is!"
Draco groans very loud. He thought his friends already knew anyway. He definitely didn't want Potter and his friends to know. But he had to tell them seeing as Pansy plays dirty when you don't do the dare or say the truth. He learnt that from past experience.
"F-fine." He stutters, "I'm er- I'm well-"
"OH JUST SPIT IT OUT DRACO" Pansy yells at him.
Draco flinches but decides that he has no way out of this anyway.
"Ugh" He gives in, "I'm gay."
Both Weasleys looked like they had never heard the word 'gay' before. Harry looked shocked and Hermione looked interested. Hermione takes a small glance at Pansy. Pansy looks back. They smirk at each other knowing they were thinking the same thing.
They kept playing the game but nothing too exciting came up. Except for when Ginny was dared to kiss Harry. Seeing as they were already dating, it was no big deal, but Draco had this weird feeling in his stomach as he was watching. It didn't feel good. Hermione and Pansy both noticed the look Draco had on his face whilst watching the kiss. They both noticed something that looked a bit like jealousy.
Finally the train ride was over and they got out the compartment. Draco didn't say anything at all, but Pansy and Blaise said goodbye to the Gryffindors. The Gryffindors had said goodbye back.
They got onto separate carriages after that on their way to Hogwarts. Most people could see the threstrals now that the war was done and over.
