PDS lovers

CHAPTER 1

Kieren walked into class like normal. Had a 30 minute lecture from his Art teacher, Mr.Harroway, about doodling on the desks. Then, when class was finally over Kieren went to study at the library like always. Since it was Friday, most people at the University were going to see their parents or go out partying. This was the exact opposite of what Kieren wanted to do. What he wanted to do was study at the library, finish his Art History assignment and then marathon The Lord Of The Rings in his dorm. That, was the perfect friday for him.

Kieren entered the library said "Hello" to Cassandra, the librarian, and started to make his way over to his normal study area. Which was by the window, Kieren concentrated better if he was by a window. It allowed him to look out and find things to draw. As Kieren was approaching his seat, he noticed a young man in a jumper too big for him. This 20 something man was sitting in Kieren's seat. He didn't feel like confronting him about it so decided to sit somewhere else. The man didn't look up as he had walked over and then walked away. Luckily.

An hour later Kieren had completed half of his Art History assignment and continued to finish his doodles in his sketchbook.

Kieren started daydreaming out the window when he noticed the man stand up and walk over to him.

"Hey.. Would you like a coffee? I'm just about to get one and yeah.." The man offered.

"Yeah.. I would.. Thank yo- sorry what's your name?" Kieren replied.

"My name is Simon, and you're Kieren if i'm correct"

"Yes, um uh how did you know my name?" Kieren questioned

"Well, you're the only PDS dude in your Art class, it was just a lucky guess" Simon smirked and laughed a little as he answered Kieren's question.

"Oh.. Right. Well uh thank you for offering me a coffee." Kieren smiled.

"No problem, i'll bring it to you in a second."

He wondered off to get the coffee and Kieren continued to daydream. Finally, Simon came back sat down next to him and gave Kieren his coffee.

"So what are you studying Simon?"

"Philosophy, its very interesting. I love it."

"That's cool."

Kieren never really like philosophy but each to their own he thought. After a minute of sitting in silence Simon broke it by saying

"Well, it was nice meeting you Kieren so i'll see you round" Simon collected his things and smiled as he walked away from Kieren. He had wished that Simon stayed longer; he was so attractive and seemed intriguing, but Kieren didn't have the guts to carry on the conversation.

After staying at the library and beating himself up over saying "That's cool" to Simon. He walked to his dorm and watched The Lord Of The Rings and drifted of to sleep.

CHAPTER 2

Kieren was awoken by his room mate Bradley staggering in drunk and slurring things about his ex-girlfriend and PDS sufferers. It was 5 in the morning and Kieren wasn't prepared to deal with this; since Kieren is a PDS sufferer he didn't feel like being abused. Nonetheless he finally managed to put Bradley to bed. Once Kieren had grabbed breakfast, had a shower and put on his makeup and contacts he was ready to leave. Kieren made sure he paid close attention to his clothes. He wore a jumper his mum had bought him for Christmas, dark blue jeans and black boots. Kieren wanted to make an impression incase he saw Simon. Before leaving Kieren grabbed his sketchbook and pencils and left to visit the park.

It was only 6:30 in the morning and the early birds were awake. Kieren scanned everyones faces and bodies trying to look for Simon. Kieren thought he would be up at this time. Or maybe at least wondering around the University grounds. Sadly, Kieren could not find Simon.
