shadow burns and light darkens

Jay moves through the darkness a knife clutched in his hand as sapphire walks past he steps out of the shadow. She looks at him she has a smile on her face Jay smiles back before walking In his thoughts a confused blur. "Sapphire," says Serena "I must warn you now before it's too late never use your gift against him". It's the next day and Sapphire has just woken up she hears shouting from the corridors so she gets out of bed and gets changed into her mail embedded clothes made as a light armour alternative. She walks out and finds the shouting coming from the main hall she is confused to find Jay with documents of some kind in one hand in the other he holds a knife sky's father and the head of defence are arguing with him their weapons drawn Sapphire walks forwards drawing her weapon and Sky walks in seeing the commotion she walks forwards to join sapphire "traitor" shouts Sky's father
"I am no traitor when did I say I was on your side terrorist" Jay shouts back eyes burning bright. Sapphire draws her sword Sky leaps forwards as sapphire activates her ability she loses control the lightning turning black as do her eyes the lightning hits Sky she cries out in pain blood drips from her eyes as she covers them with her hands. Her father looks back and Jay throws his knife at him it hits her father in the middle of his back. The head of defence pulls a sheild in time to block another a stray bolt Sapphires hairs stand on end from the surrounding static jay throws another blade it hits Sapphire and nothing a dark sea surrounds them as the static grows stronger Saphire throws another bolt at Jay who then pulls another blade this one shines bright sparks flying around it throwing it his eyes glow yellow. yellow form round the blade like the glow of a candle it cuts through the darkness returning Sapphire to normal. Sapphire looks round but Jay is gone she then collapses. "what did you do!" Serena screams " why you don't even know how lucky you were" Sapphire looks down at her feet "let's get you ready so that boy you tried to fight is another blessed he's blessed of hope but he was originally created by another meaning he'll never truly belong to this world he is also much stronger than you this is his second life" Serena explains "its time for you to return". Sapphire wakes in her bed in the housing area the 3 other beds are empty so Sapphire makes her way to the hallway. Remembering Sky she hurries to the infirmary. Sky's laid out on one of the beds her eyes covered and unconscious Margret sits next to her using a spell to heal her eyes " I've done as much for her as I can. Sky wakes up as the bandages are removed her eyes are changed they used to be brown but are now pink black lightning strikes through them. "It's eating up her life force Sapphire I'm not sure how long she will live".
