An Unexpected Journey Alexander Calvert x Reader

We drove for quite sometime until we ended up at a local restaurant that looked over the beach. I got off his bike and was in such aww with where we ended up at. 

"Alex this is just..."

"Oh just you wait" Alex interjected. I just smiled as Alex grabbed my hand and off we went to dinner.

The dinner was simply wonderful and we just over looked the beach. At first, I was shy and a bit out of my element but Alex was really sweet about it all and knew not to take it too far.

I looked out to the beach. Alex just looked at me.

"What are you thinking?"  I brought my head to look at him.

"Hmmm?"

"You got quiet, normally when that happens something is on a person's mind. "

I just smiled, "Nothing... I was just admiring it all."

"Well...in that case..."

Alex asked the waiter for our check. Once he had paid he grabbed my hand and we started walking towards the beach.  We ended up near the sand. Before we did anything else we took out shoes off. I started to feel the sand between my toes. Alex saw how happy I was.

" You enjoy the beach?"

"yeah... I don't get out too much anymore"

"Well.. .I have a surprise for you"

"Alex you didn't..."

"Jasmine, I want to...please let me do this for you"

Alex didn't give me a chance to say anything else. He just grabbed my hand and we started walking again. The closer we got the louder I began to hear music. I looked at Alex and I smiled really big. We got to where everyone was, so many people we dancing and the music was great. My heart was so happy.

"Surprise!.. I figured since our last time we danced together didn't go as planned"

"Lets dance" I said as I grabbed his hand and we went on the dance floor.  We danced until we were the last couple on the dance floor. For the first time in a long time I have been happier than ever before. That was all thanks to Alex
