Possessed (A MCSM Fanfiction)

Possessed Hasn't Ended Yet!

That's right, the story might be over, but that doesn't mean it's over- 

That's the lamest intro ever, moving on

So, basically! Let me give background first. On my instagram account (danielle_does_doodles if you're interested in following me), I began sharing bits and pieces of a mcsm-themed household I made on Sims. My followers loved it, and it became like a series - almost everyday I play Sims, and I keep them updated on what the Sims are doing through my stories.
To keep things interesting, I've even began raising people's shipkids in the game, since there are quite a lot of those on instagram (even I made two for fun... xD)

So that's how my MCSMSims thing began.

Now a while back, I got the idea to start recording myself playing Sims, on YouTube! My first series idea was immediately to buy the Strangerville Pack, and start playing it in a somewhat similar way to how Possessed flowed - recording all my reactions to experiencing the gamepack for myself!

There's only one episode so far, but I'm planning on getting more out really soon! I'm a bit jittery at the start, rambles a bit, but I should grow more comfortable talking to a mic after a few episodes!

So if you want to come along for this journey, you're all invited!

Now moving on from that topic, I did promise some fun facts about this story! So Things You Didn't Know About Possessed!

- When I started writing Possessed, there was a insane heatwave. And to make things worse, the power was off for large periods of time every day. Since I have a laptop, I was able to write during the blackouts, and wrote Possessed almost every single time when the power was out. I wrote the majority of this book's first chapters in the dark, drenched in my own sweat.
Get why the characters were suffering from heat? XD

- Going off of that first fact, our heatwave broke at about the same time in the story when I let the town's temperature drop. I guess you could say I legitimately copied our weather into this story xD

- Moving on from temperature-based facts! I only saw one playthrough of Strangerville before writing Possessed, and that was the one by Vixella on YouTube. After writing the book, I actually watched some other people play the game and found out some more details I wish I knew before writing it!

- Continuing from details I missed, in the Sims, Possessed Sims actually have a habit of looking for and drinking water constantly. So I guess the mother leaving Jesse to get dehydrated could be considered a plot-hole, but oh well - this was never meant to be a copy of the game!

- Petra was originally going to be the first Sim to get Possessed! But, I decided Jesse was a much better candidate for it, and I'm glad I went with her. Besides, Petra did get a chance to become possessed as well!

- Adding Olivia to the story was a last minute decision that I think played out pretty well!

- This story gave me a newfound love for writing about Jesse, Petra and Lukas as friends. Count on them being main characters for a lot more AUs and projects...

That's all I can think off for right now! So time to close off my favourite fanficition I've written so far.
