Chapter 1: Medication

~Lance POV~

I woke up to the alarms going off, my cuts from the prior night stinging, and my body aching from my extensive training. "Another day yippy." I grumble as I peeled off my face mask. I'm suiting up when I hear a knock on my door.

"Lonce hurry up and get your but out of bed! Keith and Shiro have an announcement for everyone!" Allura yelled through the door.

I open the door. "Why hello princess couldn't resist coming to my room?"

"No, I'm only here because the other paladins didn't want to and I got the short straw as you say." The Alpha responded rolling her eyes.

Ouch, that's gonna sting. Allura and I walk to the dining area in silence. When we arrive I sit on the end closest to the door. Shiro and Keith stand up.

"Now that you're all here Keith and I wanted to announce something." Shiro began. "Keith and I are dating!"

My jaw dropped but I quickly composed myself while everyone congratulated them. It wasn't the fact that both of them are alphas, I more than support that. You see the thing is, I'm head over heels for the both of them. Well, it's not like anyone would like a piece of omega trash such as yourself. "Shut up" I whispered to myself.

"What was that lance?" Keith questioned me.

"I said congratulations!" I responded while trying to cover up my inner turmoil. I stood up and quickly left the room. You see after I was presented I started taking suppressants and haven't told the team. For all they know I'm a beta. Along with that right before the garrison, I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD. Lucky for me after we found Shiro I got my prescriptions refilled.

I went to take my suppressants when I realized I was on my last douse. Crap! And It didn't make it any better. Well, it was going to happen eventually. I thought as I took the douse. Disgusting, worthless, fat, seventh wheel, slu- my thoughts were cut off by the intercoms.

"Everyone in the training deck in five dobashes, We will be doing mind melds." Well, this should be fun.
