Your mirage of words flung me across the ocean and threw me into motion
The universe flows in reverse as we get closer to time's tale of omen
I feel like I'll drown in the depths and vanish into oblivion
Like a tiny speck of dust floating in the wind with no sense of direction
My soul aches for what I want to know
My body itches to feel what I must have and adore
Love
I know the pulsing of our hearts brings me forward to the shore
To the real world they see and I know of is clear yet full of debris and unspoken decree
A pity they say I am still adamant at letting go and dropping in the depths of the sea
But I feel closer to the edge of the universe
Drowning in the ocean and trying to swim forward without moving in reverse
Trying not to get lost, going against the current full of holes and stitches
They cannot comprehend following my mind's wishes
To not let the shallow waters touch and change me into that same horrid manner
For what I desire is not as shallow, its to know the rumbling waves that suffocates the wanderer and please the swimmer.
What sustains you is what beats me.
The sufferer who was happy.
