I was under the covers as lighting struck. It made the room very big. I tremble for I didn't like the feeling of the dark room and being alone. I try to count to 10 sheep for it seems to clam me most of the time. It was working until I heard the a noise. I whimper slightly thinking something horrible would happen. Hearing the sound of footstep coming closer I cover my mouth hoping I won't be caught.
I sheirk when something pounce on me making me get up. As I was screaming I heard laughter next to me. I clam down and was breathing rapidly as I watch my best friend curl up in a ball laughing. My eyes water for it did scare me but I try not to show it by shoving him out of the bed. That only made him laugh more.
"You should had heard yourself!" Jaden said laughing "You sound like a girl."
I pout as he laugh I cross my arms "I did not..."
Honestly, it did including when there was alot of weird stuff going on. Not to mention there's some type of ghost or so some of the other kids say.
"Neddy, you really got to stop listening to the silly stories." He said laughing.
"I wa-wasn't scare of those stories." I said feeling embarrass
"Uh huh." Jaden said smirking.
I puff my cheek for he can be an idiot. He is mean as Rafa and always bullying me. At least he is nice when it has to be and makes me feel better when am scare or feeling horrible. Though am still surprise Rafa and Jaden hasn't team up to bully me. Good thing they don't get along.
I realize I was calming down from the prank my friend did. Jaden chuckle as he got up from the floor. I watch as he wave at me as he was back at the doorway.
"Anyways, am heading to the toilet before dinner." He said then ran off
I stay on the bed wondering if he ever stay still. I stretch a bit for being in the bed a bt to long, then got out of my 'protection'. I head towards the open doorway just as I bump into someone. I mumble for it hurt and also wish it wasn't some of the mean kids.
Looking up it was just my roommate and close friend. Seba look a bit worry but relief.
"Dude, were have you been?" The curly hair boy ask.
"I was in our room." I reply nervously.
Seba sigh "Good, I heard someone got taken by the nannies."
My eyes widen hoping they weren't after Jaden. He always gets into trouble and I knew sooner or later he would get caught. Maybe, he did something horrible this time. Maybe, they already caught him and won't come back. I heard that's what been happening. Which is strange for no one hasn't been adopt for a while.
"Hey, Neddy clam down am sure nothing bad happen." Seba said as he place his hand on my shoulder. I didn't notice I was breathing fast. Luckily, it wasn't as bad like other times.
Seba look at me concern. I nod my head hoping he would get am fine. Seba blink at me still having that look. I gulp for I don't like it when he looks like me like that. It makes me feel guilty for him have to worry about someone who is troublesome.
"Am alright...just thought that the nanny would really be after Jaden." I said smiling lightly.
Seba didn't say anything but nod his head.
"Ok, then let's go before they decide not to give us food." Seba said walking towards the dinning hall. I nodded glad to have the thought out of my mind.
