When we got home we let mom get some rest. We'd be staying at my nana's for a while, maybe even forever. My nana and I got some shed-eye also.
I woke up to hearing a clutter of silverware, with a thump to the ground following. I ran to the kitchen to see what was happening. My mom was on the ground. The silverware drawer was shut. My mom was covered in raisin bran and milk, with a spoon on her.
"Help," I screamed for my nana and papa.
No one was coming. I ran to there room and no on was there. I ran back to my mom and tried CPR, nothing. Then I felt her pulse, nothing. I went to the home phone and called 9-1-1. The paramedics said they were on there way.
The first paramedic ran inside. Straightening my mom's neck making sure it is straight. He asked if she has underwent anything major.
"Uh, they went through a procedure to help her live after a car wreck. Could she have died from a broken heart? My little sister was in the car with her too, and died. That could be it. I learned in school."
"Well, there isn't anything we can tell you, she may live we are just going to have to take her to the doctor. We will see what happens from there," He said, while the other paramedics came in to put her on a gurney.
