It's been 7 years since Brent has fled from the cafe. She didn't even know why. I sat there in the same cafe looking at the booth me and Brent always shared. There was 2 teenagers. A boy and a girl, the boy looking at her, smiling. While the girl looked down at the table blushing. I took out my old diary from 6 years ago...

      I know people change. I changed. You changed. The day you wallked out of the cafe suddenly and never came back. I don't even know why. You used to text me every second of the day, spamming me, it gets extremely annoying, but that's one of the things that made me fall in love with you, and you didn't know it. The way we can talk for hours and not get bored. When we hang out and go to the spot on the field. The way we had bets and me ending up losing. The way I eat your food because I always order the wrong thing. The way we played in the rain... Or maybe it could have been me, but honestly it would have been better if you told me it was me instead of leave me hanging. But I miss us. How you can make my day by just calling me beautiful. I gave up food, and sleep for you, so your hella special. I know it might be some cliché thing girls say, but my heart hurts... Legit.. And it's been a year. I try to talk to you, but you turn away and walk the other direction. I didn't know what I did, and it's breaking me. Sure I'm only in 8th grade but it hurts.

Highschool is over, college is over. I would think I would be able to move on but I can't intill I know why Brent walked out of the cafe.
