December 2012, My brother had a live-in partner name Mary from Passi, Iloilo and she's 2 months pregnant. Her family was chocking my brother to take responsibility of their daughter! They arranged the civil wedding and the two family settled . The wedding party celebrated from the brides place. At dusk we decided to stayed and sleep over that night because its already late to travel back home.
Strangely my brother told my sister together w/ her children to occupy their own room, instead to sleep in the Sala . My sister-in-law looks uneasy and they stayed in the other room instead! The rest of us slept in the dining room. Tired and slightly drunk everyone wanted to take some rest. Light off and moonlit shine over the darkness. The compound houses was surrounded by rice fields no street lights outside or light from the distance neighborhood.
One of my sister still awake, uncomfortable lying in the bench for almost 3 hrs. Suddenly she notice and sense something a prickly feeling, out of nowhere a shadow glides and stood in front of my Uncle who sleeping soundly. It was the brides mother, she bent over and sniffed over his face and my sister can't barely move only her eyes witness everything... the brides mother sniffed one after the other gliding soundless, Now my sister waiting for her turn to be sniffed then she heard some noise coming from my brother's room then the brides mother turn back and swiftly vanish in the dark...
A month later, one of our cousin came to visit us, she's a public school teacher.. We talked about so many things and we end up about the wedding of my brother. She asked about the family background of the Bride as soon we told her she couldn't believed it. She told us The Bride belong to FAMILIA ASWANG!!!
Everything was confirmed about the truth behind the rumors but who wants to know more...NO one cares actually.!!!
