Lucy's POV//

I lay on the bed with luke laying next to me.. On his phone changing the song we were listening to again.. It was our last day together before he left to tour the world with his band and one direction... Finally he chose "fix you" by Coldplay and set the phone down and sighed.. "So you're really leaving tonight?" I asked and he sighed and nodded. "It'll be crazy.." He muttered. "Yeah.. But it's what you wanted right? You'll be living your dream." I said and he nodded. "You won't be there.." He muttered. "I'll be coming to the concert that's like in the middle of tour.. And I got backstage passes and stuff." I said. "So you'll make sure you come?" He asked and I nodded. "Of course I'll come." I said and I sat up and looked at him to see him smiling at me.

His phone beeped through the music and he checked to see a text.. "I gotta go.. My moms here.." He sighed. "Okay.." I whispered as he got up and we walked to the door. "I'll miss you Lucy.." He said. "I'll miss you more luke." I said in tears.. He wrapped me in a big hug. Not a fake hug. One of those strong I'll miss you and I love you and I never wanna let you go kinda hugs... He stepped back and sighed.. "Call me everynight and were gonna skype a ton." He said. "Okay." I said with a smile and he wiped a couple of my tears away with his thumb. "Bye Lucy.." He said and walked outside and started going to his moms car. "Bye luke.." I whispered..

*1 Week Later*

Lucy's POV//

I looked at my phone and sighed. Luke hadn't texted in the past 4 days.. We skyped once throughout this whole week and that's it. I guess touring is more then he thought it would be..

I put my phone back in my pocket and got a tray and walked over to the empty table and put the empty cups on it and started cleaning off the table with a rag.. I was at work. I work at a coffee shop.. I got the job because of luke.. When we were both 15 and looking for our first job luke walked in and asked for applications and before we even started to fill them out he talked to the owner and got us both jobs just by doing what he usually does.. Charms people with his kindness.. It was fun working with your best friend..

But of course he had to quit.. Being a rock star and all he didn't need a small town job..
