Smile! (Part 1)

I feel like it's time I finished this story, I'll try my best to satisfy everyone who waited so long. I hope everyone enjoys^^. I haven't drawn any cherryberry (or any ships) in a long time so sorry for not having a picture drawn. (not like I drew much for this book specifically XD)

Ten years later... The night before Violets tenth birthday...

Blue's PoV

I yawned as I listened to the running water coming from the sink, I was washing the dishes from dinner as I was beginning to feel drowsy. God, being a parent has been really fun so far, usually it would take alot to wear me out but having to deal with the kind of nonsense my family puts me through.. Makes me smile brighter than I ever have. The hard parts of being a parent, although scary, were my favorite and I honestly couldn't ask for anything better. I finished the last plate as I let out the water as stretched my bones for having staying still for several minutes as I felt arms wrap around my waist as I blushed and turned around to face Red as I smiled "Mweh heh^^ I thought everyone was asleep?" I said as I gently wrapped my arms around his next and gazed at the taller skeletons crimson eyes. "Hey, I might be lazy but I can't just leave my husband alone down here by himself" Red chuckled as we looked at each other for a few minutes before he pulled me into a loving kiss. I kissed back as I closed my eyes and gentle pressed my body against his as he held me close, I still find myself blushing to his kisses to this day as I felt our souls began to glow a bit.

"Daddy?" we pulled from our embrace to see our son, Serif, at the entrance of the kitchen as I smiled and walked over to him "Serif? What are you doing up sweetie?" I said as I pick him up and he gently hugged me shaking a bit. "I had a nightmare.." he said as tears fell down his face as Red walked walked up to us "what was it about?" he said seeming a bit concerned as Serif looked at him "t-there were giant people eating evewyone! They were tall and scawy and they bwoke down all the walls!" he said sniffed as Red chuckled a little as he sighed "heh eh- Serif did you get into the box of movies that Undyne sent Violet a few months back" he asked as Serif looked down, no longer crying as he looked away "N-noo.." I couldn't help but laugh a little as I kissed Serif's cheekbone "Mweh heh^^ it's alright, none of that is real it's all just anime. Why did you watch it, I'm pretty sure the cover would've been scary enough?" I said as Serif shook his head "No, it looked weally cool, I found it on sissy's night stand and wanted to watch it in the living soon since Mommy was asleep and you weren't home yet.." I looked at Red, a little mad "he was asleep huh-" Red scratched the back of his head, laughing nervously "eh heh.. I dozed off after doing the laundry..?" I snickered as I gently kissed Red "it's ok but try to make sure that the kids don't get there hands on scary movie's or shows that might scare them, ok?" I smiled softly as I notice Serif lay his head on my shoulder, I could tell he wanted to go back to sleep. "Alright, I'm sorry hun" he looked at Serif as he gently rubbed his forehead "I'm sorry buddy" Serif smiled As he reached over and hugged Red "it's ok mommy" Red blushed, I guess he's still not use to having someone call him mom now, this made me giggle.

We soon put him back to bed as I got out of the shower and put my Pajamas on, Red and I gotta shower together again sometime, it's been a while. I walked out as I saw Red leave Serif's room as he smiled when he saw me "he's asleep, finally" he laughed a bit as he gently hugged me and I hugged back "Now.. Where were we?~" Red said as he gently kissed me as I giggled and gently kissed back "you were about to take a shower." I replied giggling as he just nuzzled into my next groaning softly "Maybe, later.." I sighed as I kissed his cheekbone and gently patted his chest "Red.. We can continue after you've bathed, now no more complaints" I joked as I smiled. Red sighed as he nuzzled me and walked to the bathroom "Yes sir.." I smacked his rear before if went in as he quickly turned around "B-blue!" he blushed and yelled quietly trying not to wake the kids as I laughed "Mweh heh heh^^ See you in a few minutes big guy" I said as I went into our room and sat on the bed and waited for him.

I started looking through some pictures as they made me smile, most of them were of us exploring above ground and when we got our new house.. Mweh heh^^ and the time Serif was born, Violet was so excited but now she's been a little nervous..  She tries to hide it but it's very obvious. I know she wants to be a good role model but I think she's trying to hard.. I sighed as I muttered "she's always been a little to smart for her age.." I said as I started to think about the plans We have for tomarrow, maybe this will ease her mind a little "what's that?" I jumped a bit as notice Red getting into bed as he put his arm over my shoulders as I blushed. "W-whats what?" I replied, being a little confused "you whispered something, are you alright" he asked in a concerned tone "oh! I'm fine" I sighed as I gently laid my head of his shoulder "I'm just a little worried that's all" he gently held me close as he cupped my face in his hand and nuzzled me "what's making you worried blue?" he comfortingly asked as I nuzzled back. "I'm just worried about Violet.. She just gets so anxious at time and gets so scared that something she'll do will negatively effect Serif.. It makes me feel like she's scared of being herself.." I whimpered a bit as I felt terrible. Red sighs and hugs me tightly "Hey.. It'll be ok, we can help her.. After all you helped me when I went through something similar, we just need to show her that being herself isn't bad and that she never did anything bad as herself.." he said trying to reassure me. "I just don't want to come off as nosey or rude to her.." I replied as Red chuckled "Now you seem like your geting scared of yourself love. Look at it this way, we're her parents, we love her and she loves us. Sometimes we have to be hard on people we love to get through to them.. Heh heh.. It feels odd tell you this ya know.. You taught me this" he said as I smiled a little and I gently kissed him, he kissed back. Soon pulling away as I hugged him and sat in his lap "I love you.. And tomorrow is her birthday so maybe we can teach her this while also having fun^^" I suggested as he chuckled "we can try, Blue, I love you too." after a while we went to sleep... Cuddling > // w // <

This will be longer than expected so I decided to make this be a two parter. I'm not sure if my writing had gotten better or worse, so leave some feedback and contructive criticism about things that could be worked on^^
