Chapter 6. Secret

Kai was in the SM Entertainment building while the others are in school. Kai kept on thinking about Ji Eun, and that he can't let Chanyeol have her. Ji Eun, on the other hand, is confused and don't know the answers to the questions that boggles her mind. It was lunch, everybody was in the canteen and Chanyeol waited for Ji Eun.

"Ji Eun, let's go and eat with the guys." Chanyeol called  Ji Eun.

"Uhh... Can I pass this time?" Ji Eun answered.

"Why?" Chanyeol asked.

"It's because, uhh... uh... I have something important to do. Maybe my parents will fetch me later with my brother." Ji Eun replied.

"Ohh. Jinjja? (Really?) But... you should at least eat to have energy. The food in the canteen is kimchi noodles and I know you want it~" Chanyeol teased.

But Ji Eun wasn't really fond of eating Kimchi.

"Uhh... You go ahead and I'll catch up." Ji Eun answered.

"Aish! Let's go right now!" Chanyeol said as he held Ji Eun's hand.

"Yah, why are you---" Ji Eun got cut off when Chanyeol suddenly ran with her.

They got to the canteen and went to the EXO's Table. While eating, they talked and talked until the topic went down on Kai being absent. They talked and Ji Eun was quiet.

"Hey Ji Eun noona, do you wonder why Kai is absent?" Sehun asked Ji Eun.

"Uhh... I don't know. I mean, I don't." Ji Eun replied.

"It's not a new thing for me. Kai is always deciding for himself." Xiumin replied.

"Haahhh. Maybe Kai just wants to ease out and catch some air right now." Kris said, ending the topic. 

After they were eating, the talking continued. They were talking about such things about what to do after graduating when suddenly, three girls came near them.

"Annyeong EXO oppas." They greeted EXO.

"Annyeong." EXO greeted them back.

The three girls looked at Ji Eun and rolled their eyes at her. Chanyeol saw them.

"Chanyeol oppa, are you dating this girl?" The first girl said.

"Yuck. That girl is so ugly and she's not good enough for you, oppa." The second one followed.

"Hey, don't talk to Ji Eun like that!" Baekhyun exclaimed.

"Like eww. She's so ugly. She's so ugly to be with you. Slut." The third girl said.

Chanyeol stood up and faced the three girls.

"Don't talk to her like that again. Because if you did, I'm sorry but I have to not treat you anymore like schoolmates. I'm going to treat you not as kind as I could." Chanyeol replied.

"Ha! Let's go girls." The first girl said as they walked away.

Chanyeol looked at Ji Eun and everybody at the table.

"Don't mind them. What they all said wasn't true and you know you mean a lot to me and I love you." Chanyeol said as he looked to Ji Eun and held her hand.

But Ji Eun moved Chanyeol's hand away.

"Thank you." Ji Eun said followed by a smile.

Ji Eun's P.O.V.

Slut... Ugly... Those are the words that still lingers in my mind. Aish~ What if Kai's fans know that we're engaged? Would they bash me? Would he let them bash me? Aigoo. I don't know what to do. I suddenly wanted to go home. I told the guys that I would already leave.
