I have known Nash since we were 5, and grew up being his best friend throughout school and into the rich a famous part of his life. And although i never actually got to see him much, we chatted over iMessage and talked over social media all the time. Admittedly it was hard, not being able to see your best friend, and thinking about that Cameron guy replacing you.
I mean, it did make it more difficult to see each other when he moved to LA, with me living in New York with my parents, and that's why i was so surprised when i got a text inviting me to a house party;
Heyy Max, Cam and I are having a house party next weekend and where wondering if you wanted to come? As we haven't actually seen each other in person for like a year! Your welcome to stay a few days too :)
"Mom?!" I shouted "Is it okay if i got to LA next weekend to see Nash?"
I knew my mom would say no, and then give me a lecture on how it was too far away and i was too young and i had school and blah blah.
"But sweetie, its too far away and you are too young to be travelling on your own, after all you have school" She replied "And where would you be staying? And where would you eat? And where would you get your money from?".
Just as i expected, "Mom! I'm 17, not 5. I am staying with Nash in his apartment, and he is catering and letting me live him him for a few days"
"You'll have to talk to your father about it, you know how i feel about my baby"
Urgh, i hated it when she called me kids names, 'baby' or 'sunshine'. Sometimes i thought that my parents still saw me as a 6 years old. Anyway, talking to my dad wouldn't be a bad idea because he doesn't really care about me, he never did.
So i text him, gave him my reasons to go and he said 'yeah, i suppose'. Typical.
Well, i guess was gonna see my old buddy once more, and spending a few days away from the parents, as well as having a party.
