Isabelle and Kasey were instructing the people for Alec and Lydia's wedding.

Isabelle was leading two shadowhunters carrying boxes "Bring the flowers out to the wedding tent. Put the lilies up on the dais, and lay the rose petals at the entrance"

A woman carrying blue and gold drapings walked over to Kasey "Kasey, which color do you like better? It's for the curtains adorning the wedding tent"

Kasey looked at them "The cobalt blue. It's elegant, masculine... matches Alec's eyes, and it's also one of Lydia's favorite colors"

"I'll put the cobalt blue out right away" the woman told her, walking away, leaving.

Isabelle walked closer, smiling "Aren't we amazing? We're doing all this by our own"

"Being a wedding planner isn't in my resume" Kasey admitted, laughing.

Isabelle waved a hand, "You are doing it perfectly. Who would have thought we'd had similar taste?"

They smiled at each other.

Jace walked past them, "How are we supposed to get any work done with all this going on?"

Isabelle and Kasey sighed, following him

"We haven't had a wedding here in years" Isabelle told him "People are allowed to be excited"

"Wait" Kasey told them "Seriously? None? In Idris there's at least one every month"

Isabelle pointed at her, "There you have it. That's where your skills as wedding planner comes from"

Kasey made a face, chuckling.

Jace looked between them, "Since when you two are this friendly? I thought we hated the envoys?"

Kasey gave him a look, rolling her eyes "I still don't like you, Wayland"

Isabelle ignored their bickering, passing an arm around Kasey's shoulders, "We cleared the waters. I mean, we are to be family soon, right? Her parabatai's gonna become a Lightwood. My new sister in law"

"And Lydia's family will become my family too" Kasey told him, shrugging "We knew we had to learn to tolerate each other"

"We spoke and cleared things out" Isabelle told him "There were a few misunderstandings but we're past that. And she's actually not that bad" She pointed around the room "We haven't butted heads a lot in the wedding planning and if we do, we solve them pretty quickly"

"We are getting along pretty well" Kasey told them, smiling.

"Charming" Jace deadpanned, but couldn't help but smile slightly, shaking his head, walking to a computer "But we need to focus. Have you narrowed down the list of warlocks more powerful than Magnus Bane?"

Isabelle sighed, pressing a button, showing pictures on the computer screen "I've got it down to 20. But it's gonna be hard to figure out which one cast that spell on Jocelyn"

"I don't care how tough it is, we've gotta find him" Jace told them "Back at Renwick's, I let Valentine go. I won't make that mistake again. We gotta wake up Jocelyn, in case she heard anything about his plan"
