Sam & Cat... KIDNAPPED BY ONE DIRECTION?!?

Chapter 15: Hanging Out

Freddie's POV

"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to interupt anything," I deep husky voice spoke. Sam and I looked up to see I tall guy with thick brown curls. "No problem, Harry. Oh, this is my old friend Freddie. Freddie, this is one of my new friends, Harry." I looked up at him and gave a small smile. "Hi, how are you?" I asked politely and held out my hand for him to shake. "I'm doing great, thanks," he said.

"Where ya headed, Curly?" Sam asked. I chuckled at her nickname for him. Harry grinned and replied, "Just going out for some air," then he moved past us and just walked away. "Well, do you wanna come in?" Sam asked me. "Sure," I said and followed her inside.

Once we were in the living room, I looked around. Not bad, I thought. I heard a giggle and looked toward a cute girl with red hair wearing a huge hello kitty sweater. "Hey, kiddo," Sam said to her. The girl ran up to Sam and hugged her. I chuckled. "Oh, hello! I'm Cat Valentine, what's your name?" she said with a smile popping her dimples. "Hello, I'm Freddie," I said and put my hand out for her to shake. She looked at my hand and giggled. I frowned at her then she hugged me. I chuckled and hugged her back. "Nice to meet you, Freddie!" Man, this girl is bubbly. It's cute, though.

Ding

"Its ready!" Cat said and ran to the kitchen. Sam just laughed and shook her head. "She's always baking stuff. It's probably those horrible fudge piles again."

"They are not horrible," Cat retorted from the kitchen.

"Yes they are," Sam argued.

"Why are they horrible?" I asked confused.

"She always makes them too chewy," Sam explained. "Once, our friend Dice had one, then our other friend Goomer had to pull it out with a fork."

"How did that work out?" I asked.

"Well, Dice lost a few teeth after that," she said chuckling. Wow, I thought. They must be really really chewy...

"Want one, Freddie? They're chocolate chip!" Cat said bouncing into the room holding a pan of cookies. "Sure," I said reaching for one.

"Better be careful. If it gets stuck, I'm not helping you get it out with a fork," Sam said from the couch.

"Hey," Cat whined and pouted. "She's so mean."

"I know," I chuckled. Then the doorbell rang.

"Ding dong! I'll get it!" Cat shouted. I went and sat next to Sam on the couch. "Well, she's umm...." I started to say. "Interesting?" Sam questioned. I nodded in response.

Cat's POV

I opened the door to find a pretty girl with dark hair and brown eyes. She had on a variety of dark colors which went well with the dark makeup she wore around her eyes. She is soooooo pretty!!!

"Hi!" I said cheerfully.

"Hello, my name is Carly. Carly Shay."

Wait a minute... Sam told me about an old friend named Carly..... Is this the same girl?

"Umm, why are you here? I don't mean to sound rude or anything.." I said slowly.

"Oh, that's ok. I'm just here to see Sam. I have to apologize for what I did to her a few years back. I saw your babysitting flyer and I just knew I finally had the chance to get my best friend back." she explained.

I gave her a blank expression. She sighed. "Sam told you what happened, didn't she?" she asked looking down then back up. I nodded slowly.

"I understand if you hate me," she said softly.

"No, I don't hate you. I'm a little mad at you, but I don't hate you. I don't think I hate anyone, actually. Well, except Robbie..." I trailed off.

She frowned.

"Its a long story," I said tearing up.

"Aww, don't cry," Carly said and hugged me. I giggled and wiped my eyes. "I'm okay, thanks." She smiled at me and I smiled back.

Wait, I'm supposed to be mad at her for hurting Sam! I'm not good at being upset for very long. I can try, though. Maybe I should let Carly talk to Sam. I mean, they can't hate each other forever.

"Would you like to come in?" I asked and stepped to the side.

"Sure! Thanks, Cat." she said and walked in.

I hope I did the right thing....
