The First Encounter

Let's get things straight- this is not a sappy love story. This is not a happy ending, couple walks off into sunset story. Instead, this is my story. What you are about to read is my experience with love at first sight. Of course, the names, locations, and minor details are changed, but the experience remains the same. So sit back, grab a snack, and enjoy the story of how someone who does not believe in love, fell in love. 

Aubrey J is a 20 year girl, living in a very tiny city. She is extremely sly, introverted, and honestly just hates everyone. She has had her fair share of failed relationships, 'talking' relationships, hookups, etc. This being said, she does not believe that love exists for her. Aubrey does believe that love exists, and that everyone has their person; it just depends whether or not they are lucky enough to find them. However, after wasting her time repeatedly, Aubrey began to believe that love for her just does not exist, and she will be stuck with someone mediocre for the rest of her life. She completely gave up on life, and completely traps her feelings inside. She does not share personal details, she does not open up, she doesn't even like talking to new people. This is how Aubrey was for a while, until she met him. 

Sebas is Aubrey's best friend. They have been best friends for years. Sebas mother was getting married, and he decided to take Aubrey as her date. This wedding was a bit far from where they lived, and they also had family flying in from all over the country. This being said, everyone was staying at a hotel. The younger adults were all put in one room together. This included Aubrey, Sebas, Sebas's uncle, Lucas, and Lucas's date, Kelsey (which is his best friend). This is where the story begins.

The day for the wedding came, and all the young adults were put into one car together to drive down to the venue. As stated before, Aubrey is very shy and to herself. However, Lucas is not. He is a very friendly person, and will try his best to make an awkward situation un-awkward.
