When We First Met

Chapter 1

Gabbie's POV

  Welp, it's an hour before Honestly and Honestly Encore are getting released and I have been awake for a long time and I am so anxious for all the comments and review that it will get because i have been working for a long time on it and poured all my heart and soul into it.

  Everyone already knows that it's based off my manipulative liar ex, god I wish we just never met, then i wouldn't have all this pain in my heart. I just decide to take a break from dating, since I'll probably never actually trust anyone in any relationship I'll be in.

I just space out for a bit until I hear something go off. My alarm rings at exactly 12am to remind me that my two songs have been released on all platforms. A few minutes later,  I get a bunch of texts of all my friends and fans saying how good the songs are. All this positivity is overwhelming but I'm tired so i go to sleep

  I wake up at 8am on the dot and check all of my notifications. I see more chats and tweets from fans and friends, but there's one thing that catches my eyes. MY SONGS REACHED #1 AND #2 ON ITUNES IN ALL GENRES?! OH. MY. GOD. I cant believe this is actually happening, that this is real, I need to see this for myself. I open itunes at once and see that it is, in fact true!! I just sit there crying from happiness when all of a sudden, I get a text from Taylor

T:Hey gabs im so proud of you for all of your success on your new song
G:omg thank u b!! I wuv u!!
T: I wuv you too bby!!
T: Also I'm throwing a party later bc of this SO U BETTER COME!!!
G: OK OK I WILL GEEZ bye!! And what time is it at
T:at 7:00
G:okii
End of texts
   Ok now I won't actually be bored tonight, but I'm still tired, so I go to sleep. When I wake up, i see 4 messages on my phone. Shit, it's from him.

(Author note: I'm just gonna call gabbie's ex bryan ok?)

B: Gabbie please
B: i miss you
B: i want to talk with you
B: I still love you so much
   I soon as i see that, i delete his number from my phone and then check the time. It's 6:30, I better get ready. I put something casual, just a black no-sleeve shirt and a pair of my grandmother's khaki pants which I love so much and some black boots. I call an uber and wait a while until it comes. Whilst that's happening I get a text from Bryan....again
B: Please gabbie just respond to me I want to talk to you
Instead of just deleting his number, I make sure to block him and then delete his numder and block him again on all social media. After I'm done with that, I get the text from my uber driver telling me that he's arrived

*time skip*

When I arrive, i see that the restaurant is all crowded and as I enter, I can see all of my friends. Joey, daniel, Elli, Alina, Taylor, Matt and others too. They instantly spot me and run over to hug and congratulate me. Elli and Alina hang with me the most for the party and we talk alot about anything we possibly can. After a while, I just roam around the restaurant when I see a girl with black hair and beautiful blue eyes sitting at a table alone. I just walk up to her and say hi.
???: oh hi
G:why are you sitting here all alone, are you waiting for someone?
???: oh no I'm here for the party of this girl called Gabbie who recently released her new songs
G: oh, well I'm Gabbie and thank you so much for coming.
???: No problem, and I have to say that your voice is amazing.
G: Thank you! Can I ask for your name?
???: Yeah I'm Irene
G: Well nice to meet you irene
I: Nice to meet you Gabbie.

   When we shake hands, i feel something inside of me tingle with warmth. I have no idea of what is was but it really felt nice. I just decided to sit next to her and talk for the rest of the night

Irene's POV
 
   Wow who knew there could be a girl that looks this beautiful. Gabbie and I kept talking about our interests and it seems we have alot in common. And I'm pretty sure that at one point I spaced out just by looking at her gorgeousness because she had to tap my shoulder so I can snap out.
  
   When everybody started to leave because the party was over, Gabbie and I left together
G: It was such a pleasure to meet
I: Yeah it was
I: Is it okay if i ask for your number
G: Sure, no problem

   As we exchange phone numbers, she suddenly asked" Can I call you an uber?"
I tell her that no but she insists a lot so I give in. She calls the uber and we wait for it. When it arrives I get in and the gabbie gets in which suprises me.
G: I want to make sure you get home safely
I: You don't need to its fine
G: Are you sure?
I: Yes I'm going to be fine
G: Ok, goodbye!
I: Goodbye!
  But for some strange reason...

I felt safer with her and only her.
