Oh my God... what's this?  An update? No way.  YES believe it or not, I'm finally updating after almost a year... whoops.  I wonder if anyone even remembers this story? So I'm horribly sorry to anyone who actually waited for me to update but I love you all and hopefully, I'm not such a bitch again and don't forget about this story.  I have exciting plans...

It had been 2 weeks since the disastrous ball that had somehow ended with an enraged princess, an unhappy prince, a sobbing servant, and a new friend...

Louis smiled to himself while he ran around, making sure that everything was in order for Prince Harry's trip to Ireland.  He was scheduled to leave later that evening and Liam had put him in charge of making sure everything was prepared.

A lot had changed over the last couple of weeks in the castle.  The girls had started homeschooling by Liam's order and were spending their time attending their boring school lessons with Madame Clara, who taught all the servant kids in the castle.

Louis rarely talked to the prince anymore out of pure embarrassment.  After the horrifying incident with Princess Taylor, he had decided to lay low and only talk to the prince to finish a task or to resolve an issue.

On the other hand, Louis had gotten quite close with Zayn, the tailor, after that eventful night.  After his work hours, Louis often spent his time in Zayn's workshop or in his chambers and vice versa.

To be quite honest, Louis's small crush on the lad had grown and although he tried to hide it, he couldn't help but feel that Zayn could see right through him.

_

"Aw come on, Lou," Zayn pouted. "You're not really going to leave me all alone here for an entire week."

Louis laughed, "Sorry mate, duty calls.  The prince asked me to accompany him to Ireland... I can't really say no, now can I?"

The brown eyed lad's pout deepened.  The two boys were laying on Zayn's bed in his chambers.  There was only about an hour or so before Louis had to leave and he was saying goodbye to his closest mate at the castle.

"True, but I'm going to miss you."

"It's just a week, you'll be fine," Louis rolled his eyes.

Zayn propped himself on one arm and looked down at his friend with sad eyes.

"I'll be back before you realize," Louis whispered, suddenly realizing Zayn was a lot closer to his face than he remembered.

"Promise?" Zayn asked him, and Louis noticed how the other lad's dark eyes flickered down to his lips.

"Promise." Louis's breathed.  His breath hitched as he noticed Zayn leaning in.

He froze and stared at Zayn in shock.  What was he supposed to do?  He's never kissed someone before.

Louis felt his lips join Zayn's soft ones and all of a sudden, he didn't feel so panicked anymore.  He felt Zayn's big hand cup his face and he melted into his touch.

But all too soon, it was over.

Zayn pulled back and Louis blushed crimson, looking away.

He noticed the time and even though he really didn't want to leave, he said, "I should go."

Louis bit his lip and forced himself to look in his friend's eyes for some sort of hidden emotion.  But they were empty.

He reached out his hand to touch Zayn, but his heart stopped as the next words that came out of the raven haired boy's mouth: "Yeah, I think you should."

_

Harry was a prince, which meant he had to behave like one.  His whole life had been dictated with rules, regulations, and consequences since childhood: No running, no yelling, always use your manners etc. etc.

But not when he was with Niall.  The day he met Niall, he was just a young boy of about 8 years. Niall was less than half a year older, but he still treated Harry like the younger brother he never had and his best mate.

Niall never really cared for the rules, so because of him, the two had gotten into their fair share of trouble over the years.

Harry chuckled, remembering the time Niall got them kicked out of the kitchen because he didn't want to wait to eat dessert.  He had made Harry stand guard (he was horrible at it) while he tried to get to the banana cream pie.  It had ended with both of them covered in the dessert and a very angry cook.

He was excited to go visit his best mate again, despite having seen him recently.  Harry was actually going to Ireland because Niall had begged him to come see him because he had some exciting news to share, and well he just couldn't say no.

As he walked through the foyer, he noticed a light shining in the servants' corridor and a small cry from that direction.  Now Harry knew it was wrong to spy on someone, but he just wanted to make sure everything was alright.

So, he crept down the corridor and waited.

To his surprise and absolute horror, he found his personal assistant standing there with his back against the door to his tailor's room.  Louis's fluffy hair was matted to his forehead, his red eyes were puffy and had tears streaming down his face.

Harry knew he should leave, but he couldn't help the next words that came out of his mouth: "Are you alright?"

Alright then, that was chapter 6... How'd you find it? Guys, I've decided this story is going to be pretty short, not more than 15 chapters because I've noticed that the plot has been moving a little quick.  Now I have a few questions for you guys:

Do you think this story is moving too fast?

What did you think about the Zouis kiss?

Thoughts on what you think Niall's news is?

What do you think will happen next?
