"They will be missed, forever in our hearts."
"This is messed up I'm sorry."
"They don't deserve to die! Can y'all hear me????"Probably that's what they said through the whole speech. I don't even know these guys. I've been locked up for ninteen years and crazily, i dont even know their faces.
This is worster than the fact that my parents are murdered, because anyone that joined the funeral can be a murder.
Im sitting in the front row with the only aunt i have in my family. Shes in her 40s and aged well. But, she had this alcoholic addiction and drugs use. Its been a while since shes in a rehab center. Shes actually looks better than before.
"Hey." Shes putting her right hands in my shoulder.
"I know this sounds ridiculous but, i missed you."
Yep, she does sound ridiculous. She's wearing a ruffled dress like she's bout to going to a party or somewhere else..
''Me too aunt Elly''
Her eyes keep scanning on me from the top of my head to the bottom of my shoes, knowing I'm wearing my only black dress that she's probably recognized course I'm overusing this dress.
''Hmm, so Sierra... You going to stay in my house aren't you.''
My face turns cold. My heart feels like it's bout to stop for a second. This is a nightmare.
''Sierra?... Sierra?? Are you okay, my dear?''
Behind this innocent talk we had. Behind her innocent fake smile. And all of her charisma...
Stull, im trying to keep up with myself and try to answer her worried question with a calm voice.
"W-what? I'm sorry, but you know aunt, I'm fine being alone for now."
Aunt Elly all the sudden leaned forward to me and grabbed my left hand tightly.
"Listen Sierra, you know your father loves me too much she wants her wife to be dead. He get what he wants and now he finally got his karma, and we can both can have all of his wealth together. He always wants me to hold the wealth. Not yours, sierra. He doesn't care about you."
I quickly get up from my seat and went through the crowd going out of the door. All I see is complete strangers with their black clothes, crying, sobbing, and tears out. At this point, I don't care if my Aunt ever catches on me, she don't care bout me anyways..Then.. it's when all started..
*Bumps*
''OH.. Sorry I- I bumped you..''
My face quickly turns red as I bumped into this guy with a clean black suit and shiny shoes.. I'm too scared to look up his face.. but..He ducks his head to see my face.
''Sierra? OH!..'' he smiles at me and open up his hands ''Oh, Okay i don't think you recognized me.. here come to the side...''
He just quickly leads me to stand on the side of this church to avoid the crowd, no, no, this is not a great idea. My aunt will be out in a min and I need to go..
''I'm sorry who are you, I need to go-''
And like that- he reaches my hand while looking at me... I have no urge to say something at this moment...
''Sierra.. you don't remember me?'' I shake my head ''Well.. I don't sorry.. I need to go.''
And just that.. I saw my aunt in front of the door
''I- I'm sorry I need to go''
I quickly let go of his hands and try to walk as fast as I could but-
''Stop Sierra. You can't hide from our Aunt. I know.. She's hard headed.. I know Sierra.. come with me.''
My brain froze for a second. Did he just say Ours?... I don't even know who he is and he says ours????
He grabs my hand again, but now he ran towards the streets..I have nothing in my mind anymore.. he still grabs my hand tightly while I noticed a ring on his one finger.. a wedding ring.
''Okay Sierra... Come inside. I will explain on our way home. A new home. Get away from our Aunt.''
My head is hurting, I can't think of one anymore.. his voice turning into a blur and I could see his face is panicking.. I don't know anymore...
''Sierra.. I''ll take care of you....i promise.. till the day i die.''
