What we take for granted can be someone else's treasure
A drop can be a worthless or priceless pleasure
For all water is a necessity of life
But to retrieve it some must undergo strife
Bottled it is costly
Welled it is hardly
Tapped it is mostly
Fountained it is clean
But some must go through the extreme
To collect dirty water from a stream
For our eyes it's always there
As we wash our faces and our hair
It is necessary for pipes and plumbing
Bathing,washing ,showering
But some don't even have it for drinking
It fills the ocean
it fills lakes
Puts rivers in motion
Although tears it makes
Water is like gold
For many there isn't enough
To any shape it will mould
But to get it can be tough
Water flows through our planet
There is more of it than land
We who have it must save it
Because there is power with water at hand
