Hope players are almost entirely guided by their beliefs. They will act upon anything they deem just and righteous. They will usually pick a side, depending on the values they believe in. Once they pick that side, they will stick with it until the end. Of course, because of this, Hope players tend to fail in seeing the "grey" area, often seeing right and wrong with nothing in between. They might be very judgemental towards anyone who doesnt believe in their values, and despises those who dont have any values to begin with. Those associated with Hope are also dreamers, always thinking of a better future, which may distract them from solving the problems in front of them.

Hope is one of two aspects associated with beliefs and emotions, the other being Rage. Hope can be related to positive emotions, more specifically hope... duh. Hope players like to remain optimistic when things go grim, making sure everyone stays hopeful with the situation. Of course, in doing this, they may fall into a fantasy and diselude themselves from the current reality. Jake tried to remain optimistic with Erisol, even if he didnt even care for Jake. Even Eridan tried to be a little bit optimistic towards the thought of joining Bec Noir. However, Hope players can be incredibly dangerous, as they possess a strong power underneath them. Its even implied that Hope is one of the stronger aspects out there. Jake had a huge surge of hope powers once Aranea "helped" him, causing mass destruction in the surrounding areas, and Eridan destroyed his friends' only hope in reviving the troll race by killing Feferi and hope-sploding the Matriorb.

Hope is also related to faith and beliefs, which could also be quite a dangerous ability. They may be able to completely change what you believe in, and could make you go on their side should you be opposing forces.

Hope players tend to be more passive, and will most likely lean towards Prospit.
