Mrs Osbourne was introducing her class to their new assignment when Luna got a text. Luna looked at her phone and saw that Venus texted her, another witch had suddenly died. Luna thought, "Oh no! That's so sad." as she put her phone away. After school, David met up with her and she told her boyfriend what had happened. David responded, "That's a really weird coincidence. Were they both murdered?". Luna nodded her head and replied, "I wonder if there's something to it but then again people get murdered every day. I feel like it's just both of them were in the wrong place at the wrong time.". David said, "Do you want to go get some coffee? It's so cold out, let's get something to warm up.". Luna agreed to his plan and the two of them went to Sweetnum Valley's best and only coffee shop. Lucy was there and approached them. Lucy hissed, "Look at what the cat dragged in. The loser witch and the idiot who agreed to date her.". Luna replied, "Don't forget what I did for you. You wouldn't have any of this without me and speaking of which, you haven't repaid me!". Lucy didn't want Luna to mention the spell so she left the couple in peace.

Venus was at the Zamolodchikova's house, helping Victoria out with her telekinesis powers. Victoria could now do pretty much anything she wanted with her powers but what Venus was focusing on the most was getting her to manage them. Vladislav anxiously watched them, he said: "For the love of God, please don't make a mess!". Venus responded, "Don't worry, Vladislav. Victoria is vastly improving and hasn't broken any vases in a while.". Victoria smiled at Venus's compliment and said, "I like you a lot better than Luna.". Venus laughed and gave Victoria a hug, she missed the days when Luna was little and actually thought she was cool.

When Venus got home the two of them talked about the latest death in the WSA (Witch's Society of America) community. Venus remarked, "It's a shame. She just had two twins.". Luna questioned, "You don't think it's connected to Isabelle's death, right?". Venus shook her head while she warmed up the food the Zamoldochikova's had made for them. She replied, "No, no. They lived in different areas, different sets of friends. There's no reason why anyone would want to kill any of them. They were both so shy. Both times it must've been done by some crazy, Ted Bundy kind of guy.". Luna didn't sleep well that night, she couldn't pinpoint what it was but something was bugging her.

David was an avid stargazer, there was a huge meteor shower that weekend so he asked Luna to join him. They had to wait until it was late at night and fly on Luna's broomstick into the woods for maximum chances of seeing anything. David joked, "You should've seen the look on my parents' faces! They were not too keen on the idea of us being out late at night and on a blanket in the woods.". Luna laughed and replied, "When you say it like that I'm shocked they even let you come!". She landed safely in the perfect viewing spot then David laid out the blanket and snacks. Luna used magic to create a campfire. They were lucky, both of them saw several shooting stars. Luna was staring at David so he asked: "What? The shooting stars are up there!". Luna smiled and said, "In my opinion, your reaction to them is more spectacular.". David leaned in closer to her and the two of them kissed.

Luna got up to grab her jacket which she had left hanging on her broomstick. She left her broomstick a couple of minutes away from where they were watching the meteor shower. Luna thought as she was walking, "I get the feeling that someone is watching me.". She consistently looked behind herself but no one was there. She quickened her pace and was breathing heavily. Suddenly she felt that person who she thought was following her strangling her. Luna screamed "David! David! Help me!" and David came running. He embraced her and said, "What happened?". Luna explained: "Someone was strangling me.". David looked around and replied, "No one is here.". He gave her another hug and felt a deep level of concern for her.

After their incident, Luna and David decided to go back home. Venus was happily sleeping when Luna tapped her shoulder. Venus groaned, "What is it?". Luna cried, "Someone strangled me!". Alarm filled Venus's body and she got up out of bed. She exclaimed, "What happened?". Luna retold, "I was walking towards my broomstick when this person who I felt following me strangled me! I yelled for David but when he got there he couldn't see anyone.". Venus sighed, "So no one saw your strangler?". Luna shook her head and Venus replied, "Luna, I think you're imagining things. I get it, the recent murders within the WSA have you scared and on edge.". Luna grew angry with her sister and argued: "But look at my neck. You can see a mark where the strangler touched me.". Venus retorted, "You probably just bumped into something. Come on, it's late. Go to bed.". Luna once again couldn't sleep, she felt something bad was out there but didn't know what it was.
