What a wonderful surprise, best friend!

"Samantha... SAM!" I open my eyes. Moms standing over me, like she thought I was dead or something. "Time for school, Sam. You don't want to be late for your first day of senior year." I smile at the word senior.

11 years of hell. This will finally be my last year. Basically the only reason I'm still here is because my best friend, Tori. She's been here for me through hell. With all my issues, I swore she'd be gone by now.

Me and Tori met in 9th grade in biology class. First real friend I ever made right off the bat. She was sweet, sympathetic, helpful, and super fucking smart. Most of all she was my best friend in the WORLD. we shared a lot in common. The main reason we cliqued was because our taste in music.

We both LOVED Pierce The Veil. Tony was my LOVE. Mike was hers. Although she secretly liked Tony, I had already claimed him for myself.

I rose out of my bed to get ready. I started to walk to my closet when I noticed my phone light up. I turned around and picked up my phone. The text was from Tori.

TORI: Goodmorning lovely. I have a surprise for you today. Meet me in the gym before school.

I reply.

Me: Okay, bby.

I toss my phone onto the bed and start dressing. I chose to wear a Pierce The Veil t-shirt and some cute tights under my black shorts and my full black converse. I do my makeup and grab my books and keys and head out the door. "Bye mom, I love you!!!" I yell. "Bye Sam! Love you too babe!" She calls.

I get into my car and start the engine. I turn up the radio and Tonight Alive starts to play. My favorite song by them!!! The Edge!! I sing along, smiling every time the chorus comes. Man, I love this song.

Finally, my 15 minute ride to school came to an end. I park into my spot and gather my book bag and keys and get out of my car. As soon as I walk into school I try and find Tori but I remember her car wasn't next to mine when I parked. I'll just wait by my locker. I run to locker 692 and unlock it with my code.

There was a note inside that fell when I opened my locker. I opened it up and it was a love letter from someone I didn't know. No name was on it. It read:

Sam,
You are absolutely stunning, you make me smile whenever I hear that sweet voice. You make me want to come out of my shell, and ask you out on a date but I can't do that. I know you'd deny me.

It was so sweet. But weird at the same time. Who could think this? I really wanna know.

Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Sam, come with me." It was Tori's voice. I followed her into the gym. She turns around and in her hand is the most wonderful fucking thing I've ever seen.
