Chapter 26:Second Chance?

~Nat's POV~

What happend yesterday with me and Luke really hurt me.He was one of the bestest friends I had ever had and I lost him.I've been crying a lot last night.I explained everything to everyone last night when they came over.They were all shocked and Calum looked really sad.I don't blame him,I mean I bet him and Luke were really close...before.

Calum and Sophia said they can walk with me to school but I didn't want to ruin their conversations or be the third wheel.So I guess I'll walk to school alone.I don't know why I kept thinking of what Luke said.Did he actually mean it?Whatever...I don't care anyways.

I got to school and saw Luke and Alexa together.I thought by now he would break up with her since he doesn't really like her and we're not hanging out anyways.He looked at me and I quickly look away.I out my things in my locker and started walking to class but then an arm grabbed me.It was Luke.

"We need to talk" He said.

"About what?I thought you said I was a bitch..." I replied.

"Look I didn't mean it.I just really want my best friend back" He said.

"You don't think I do too?I trusted you and you just left.The plan was suppose to make Alexa stop ruining everyone's relationship and not loosing my best friend."

"I'm still here" He says.

"You've changed...and it's a bad change too.Stop bothering me please!I got to get to class" I said then walked away.

"Bye..." I heard him mutter.

Loosing a best friend is harder than a breakup...

~Luke's POV~

"Ugh!" I said kicking the wall.Why am I such an idiot?I shouldn't have let Alexa pull me away from all my friends...i miss them.

"Hey babe" Alexa comes up to me and wraps her arms on my neck.

"What do you wanna do now?" She asked.I shrug then removed her arms on me.

"What's wrong?" She asks.

"Nothing" I muttered.I walked away leaving her confused.

-Lunch-

I looked over to the table I use to sit at.Maybe I should go over there and fix everything.I walked over to everyone and they all stared at me.Nat looked at the ground.

"What do you want?" Michael asked.

"Um...can I...sit here?" I asked.

"Aren't you suppose to be sitting with Alexa?" Lou asked.

"Um...no.I wanted to talk to you guys"

"There's nothing to talk about.You left us!" Calum said a little louder.

"I didn't mean to-"

"Nat told us about the plan.How it was suppose to keep all of us friends and stuff,but it looks like it didn't really work...." Calum cuts me off.

"Can I get a second chance?Please?I missed hanging out with all of you and I really don't see what I did wrong..." I said.

Nat got up and said "Excuse me for a minute" Then walks to the washroom.

"I'll go talk to her" Soph says standing up."Ill go too" Lou said.Both of them followed Nat to the washroom.

"You really hurt her..." Micheal said.

"I know...I just really want my best friends back"

"Talk to her and if she forgives you,you can have a second chance" Calum said.

I nodded and we all walked to the washroom.I could hear Nat crying inside...and it's all my fault.

~Nat's POV~

I walked to the washroom with tears in my eyes.Lou and Soph walked in and started comforting me."Whats wrong?" Soph asked.

"He's just...ugh never mind" I sniffled.

"He's what?" Lou asked.

"He expects us to forgive him right away...and he says he missed hanging out with us but he doesn't realize that he hurt all of us too."

"He thinks he didn't do something wrong too..." Soph said.

"He can't expect us to forgive him right away...I mean he called you a bitch" Lou said.

"I'm not mad about that...Im just mad because he's turning into Alexa.." I said.Then the door opens and see Luke,Calum,and Michael.

"Nat...I heard everything...Im an ass and Im so so sorry,I promise I'll make it up to you" Luke says.

"We'll let you to talk it out" Soph said then all four of them walked out of the washroom.

"I'm really sorry Nat...I miss having you as my best friend..." Luke says sitting down next to me.

I sniffle and said "Me too"

"Can I get a second chance?" He asked.

"If you can prove to me that I can trust you again"

"Oh that's easy" He says.

"Is that so?"

"Yes" he says smiling.

"How?" I asked.

"Well first I can start off with this" He says then leans me.His lips touch mine.Gosh,he's making it so hard to stay mad at him.
