chapter 3 friend or foe

Midoriya was finally going back to school. He missed his friends, he missed out on a lot of training, notes, and classes, but most of all he missed his friend Kacchan. Deku was running to school, he saw his friends and yelled to them "I'm back guys!" And next thing you know he attacked by Todoroki, Uraraka, and Lida into a group hug. The Deku protection squad were crying to see that their precious cinnamon roll is okay! Bakugou saw shitty Deku hugging his loser friends."tsk whatever, I don't give a shit about shitty Deku anyway" Bakugou spat, Kirishima looked at his Bakubro, "bro, he saved your life and was in the hospital for a month, you could be a little nicer to Midoriya" Bakugou looked at Kirishima "Your fucking crazy shitty hair!! Like I will ever be nice! Fuck him! I hate that fucking nerd!, I'm not fucking weak! I never asked him to save me!" Deku and his friends heard Bakugou yelling. Deku didn't mean to make eye contact with Bakugou but Bakugou felt a sting in his heart, his green eyes looked..broken? Deku opened his mouth to say something but only coughed up blood, he quickly covered his mouth coughing violently. His chest was tight like he couldn't breath and his vision was getting blurry. Uraraka yelled "Deku!! Someone go get Aizawa and recovery girl!! Deku is coughing up blood!!" Todoroki ran out to find their teacher, Uraraka was holding Deku and he was coughing more harshly; more blood coming out. Deku had to hold in the flower petals. Aizawa and All Might ran inside "Young Midoriya!" Yelled All Might "What happened?!" Bakugou was watching in horror as he sees his Deku, coughing up blood; he couldn't help but cover his mouth and realized what he was thinking. All might carried Midoriya to the recovery girl. Aizawa was trying to calm down the class.

"QUIET!" he yelled, "what happened?" He spat out that venomous tone. Uraraka was the one who told Aizawa everything, Aizawa looked over to Bakugou with his tried eyes, "you need to come with me. NOW." he grabbed Bakugou with his wraps and "showed" him out,(more like forced him out). Aizawa looked at the explosion child, "tell me Bakugou, why do you hate Midoriya so much?" He questioned Bakugou "because he thinks I'M WEAK! HE'S NOTHING BUT A SHITTY NERD, WHO THINKS HE CAN BECOME A HERO! HE'S USELESS! HE'S NOTHING BUT A DAMN DEKU!" Bakugou spoke then shouted letting his anger get the best of him like always. Aizawa watched as Bakugou spoke, "I see, but don't you know that Midoriya admires you, just like how he's with All Might, your words are going to kill him." Bakugou didn't know what to say but give a "tsk" sounds "whatever, see I'd I care about his FUCKING FEELINGS " and with that Bakugou went back into class. Bakugou was greeted with anger states and killer vibes from the Deku squad; Bakugou didn't give a shit about Deku or his squad. He saw that Iida was holding back round face bitch and icy-hot bastard. Bakugou went back to his desk and didn't pay attention for the remainder of class, all he kept thinking about was Deku.

*time skip, in Kirishima room was Bakugou*

Kirishima was waiting for Bakubro to explain himself. "Bro, what you did wasn't manly at all not cool, don't you realized Midoriya ALMOST DIED FOR YOU! He was in hospital for a month! Bakugou! A MONTH! AND you want to go ahead and say that to him! Not a "thank you"! Bakugou was pissed off and had sparks coming out his palms, "MIND YOUR BUSINESS FUCK FACE! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING!" Kirishima was getting mad himself, but calmly took a deep breath and talked to his bro. "Dude listen, you're my best friend and I trust you, but you need to trust me too, I want to understand, but you need to explain to me why" Bakugou couldn't hold it in any longer and stated at Kirishima and yelled "I DONT HATE DEKU! I SEE HIM AS A THREAT!" Kirishima looked at Bakugou confused. "Bro how?" Bakugou took a deep breath and told Kirishima everything about what happened between them both, from when he got his quirk to when he told Deku to jump off the school roof.

Anyways, Bakugou realized that the Midoriya he once knew (the weak one) isn't so weak after all and he starts to feel like Deku would catch up to him. He doesn't want to acknowledge Deku's strength and that might come off as 'hate'.

Another reason is that he thinks Deku thinks Bakugou is weaker so Deku always wants to help him. Clearly, Bakugou doesn't want any sort of help from Deku, from anyone in fact, but Deku is always stretching out his hand to help Bakugou and he resents this. Bakugou is actually showing Kirishima "emotion"; he's crying. Bakugou looked up at Kirishima "I-I almost lost De-Izuku. I almost lost him when he got hit! I thought I would never see him again!, Kirishima...I think I fucked up. Help me fix it."
