RHETT'S POV
I woke up to the noise of the screaming alarm clock. I raised my arm and slapped my hand down onto the "SNOOZE" button. I slowly sat up and turned my head to see look at the time. The bright red numbers read: 6:30. Wait... 6:30?! The bus picks me up at 6:45!
I shot out of bed like a small rabbit ran away from a hungry wolf. I quickly grabbed my jeans and slapped on a T-Shirt as I ran out into the kitchen for breakfast.
"Hey!" My brother Cole shouted as plopped a piece of toast into the toaster. "My little brother, is on his way to the first day of 9th grade! Aww..." He said sarcastically
"Shut up..." I mumbled still half asleep. I walked over to the fridge and pulled out a bagel and stiffed in my mouth as I ran down the hallway, into the bathroom.
I grabbed my hair gel and spiked my hair up and put on my back pack. I ran out the door to see the bus pull up. Luckily the bus stop was right outside my house.
I sighed as I climbed in and sat in the last seat. I was not excited to go high school. I've heard lots of bad things about it before.
